Clip

A single piece of video or audio.

What is a clip in ScreenFlow?

A clip in ScreenFlow is a segment of video or audio that has been imported or recorded in the ScreenFlow application. It is a fundamental element in video editing using this software. Clips can be manipulated in various ways such as trimming, splitting, adjusting speed, and adding effects. They can be arranged on the timeline to create a complete video project.

ScreenFlow allows users to layer multiple clips on top of each other, enabling the creation of complex video compositions. Each clip can be individually edited without affecting the others. This feature provides flexibility and control over the final output. Clips can also be grouped together for easier management and organization within the project.
