A video presentation replaces the need to present to a live audience. In today’s virtual classroom, it’s easier than ever to share your presentation with your class and teacher by recording using your computer. Because it's prerecorded, you can record it in your own time, and the audience can watch it in theirs. This saves time for everyone involved.
A strong student presentation starts with interesting slides. Structure your slides to be easy to skim and tell a story. You don’t want to distract the audience by having slides that are packed with text or hard to read. This will pull their attention away from what you’re saying. Since it’s a video, make sure the webcam is appropriately positioned so you’re in view. Likewise, rewatch your recording to ensure the audio quality is acceptable. Lastly, don’t feel you need to nail it on your first try. You can use Tella to edit it afterward, so it’s exactly the way you want.
You likely recorded your presentation in tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Keynote, or Google Slides. With the Tella Chrome extension, you can record your presentation in any of those programs. Log in to Tella and share your slides. Turn on your mic and camera so that you capture your voice and webcam too. Once you press “Start recording,” you can start presenting your slides and edit the recording afterward, all within Tella’s app.
