Auto Cut is a new way to edit that improves how you record. It analyzes your video to find mistakes, repeated lines, interruptions and more, then removes them with a single click. Auto Cut eliminates annoying editing so you can record in peace.

• Pausing: Pause your recording in situations where you don't want to restart or add another clip — now available in the Tella macOS app
• Improved timeline zooming: Zooming in on the timeline now keeps you at your current position instead of jumping to the start

With Auto Layouts, Tella does the editing for you. Just pick a template then hit Generate. Tella will apply layouts and transitions throughout your video with a little help from AI. What took 30 minutes now takes 30 seconds.

Tella for Chrome is now compatible with Chrome's Manifest V3. This update to the extension also includes:

• Record multi-clip videos simply by stopping the current clip then starting a new one
• Record quick videos by pushing "Preview" either during the recording (this will also stop the recording) or after you've already stopped the recording
• Improved device (camera, mic) selection — should be a lot more stable

We've also made a major update to the performance of the editor. Working on long videos with extensive edits is a lot more performant (faster). Navigating throughout the video and adding additional edits will feel smoother and responsive.

In this update we also fixed a bug with how audio was being captured in screen-only recordings.
