A punch-in makes your camera fill more of the frame for a moment. In Tella it is a Layout option, not a zoom in the Effect tool.
A punch-in makes your camera fill more of the frame for a moment, adding emphasis without changing the recording itself. In Tella it is the Punch-in option on a full-frame camera layout under Layout, not a zoom in the Effect tool, which works on screen content.
Select the punch-in card and open Customize layout.
Under Animations, set Intro and Outro to Smooth or Hard cut.
Intro is unavailable if the punch-in is the first layout, and Outro is unavailable if it is the last.Use Smooth for a gradual camera move or Hard cut for an immediate change.
Select the words you want to emphasize before choosing the layout. The card will snap to those word boundaries, which makes spoken punchlines easy to time.
For more ways to move, resize, split, or copy the section, see Layouts.
