How to open viewer settings
- Open your video in the Tella editor.
- Click Share in the top right.
- Click Viewer settings.
Video
Default playback speed
Set the speed viewers see when they first open your video. Options range from 0.5x to 2.5x (0.5x, 0.8x, 0.9x, 1.0x, 1.1x, 1.2x, 1.5x, 1.7x, 2.0x, 2.5x). Viewers can still adjust the speed themselves while watching.Allow downloads
Toggle whether viewers can download the exported video file. When enabled, a Download button appears in the top navigation bar of the view page, next to Copy link.Raw downloads
Only visible when downloads are enabled. Allows viewers to download the underlying video and audio files in addition to the exported video, including the video and audio clips attached to the video’s scenes, not only your camera and screen recordings. Subtitles
Controls whether subtitles are shown by default when someone watches your video. Viewers can still toggle subtitles on or off themselves.Reactions
Enable or disable emoji reactions on the video timeline. When enabled, viewers can respond with emoji reactions at specific moments while watching. See Reactions for details.Comments
Enable or disable the comment section on your video. When enabled, viewers can leave regular or timestamped comments. See Comments for details.Comment notifications
Only visible when comments are enabled. Controls whether you receive an email notification when someone leaves a comment.Transcript
Toggle whether the transcript tab is visible to viewers on the view page.Document generation

Show or hide the copy link button on the view page, which lets viewers easily share your video with others.View counts
Show or hide the view count on the video. This setting is available on paid plans. When enabled, the view count appears on the view page for everyone. Editors and creators can click the view count to open analytics, while other viewers see it as a static display.Call-to-action buttons
CTA buttons are not part of the Viewer settings panel. Open them from More (…) → CTA, or by clicking the CTA button on the view page.
