Setting the default playback speed
As the video creator, you can set the default playback speed that viewers will see when they first open your video.From the Share menu
- Open your video in the Tella editor.
- Click on the Share button.
- Select Viewer Settings.
- Find the Default Playback Speed option. You can choose between 1.0x, 1.2x, 1.5x, 1.7x, and 2.0x.
- Choose your preferred default speed from the dropdown menu.
From the view page
- Navigate to your video’s view page.
- Click on the Settings button.
- Look for the Default Playback Speed option. You can choose between 1.0x, 1.2x, 1.5x, 1.7x, and 2.0x.
- Select the speed you want viewers to start with.
How viewers adjust playback speed
When someone watches your video, they’ll see a playback speed control in the video player.- Click on the speed button (it shows your default speed, like “1x”).
- A menu will appear with different speed options.
- Choose from speeds like 1.0x, 1.2x, 1.5x, 1.7x, and 2.0x.
- The video will immediately play at the selected speed.
