Short answer: Tella records audio at 128 kbps. This is the target bitrate used for all recordings made from the Tella web app across Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge, and Arc. Audio is encoded with Opus (in WebM) or AAC (in MP4), depending on your browser, at a 48 kHz sample rate. 128 kbps is the target bitrate Tella uses for all web recordings. In Chrome, this is also the maximum the browser allows; other browsers may behave slightly differently.
