If you need to download several videos at once, you can batch export them from your library instead of exporting each one individually. Tella renders every selected video, zips them up, and emails you a download link when it’s ready.

Export multiple videos

  1. Go to your library and select the videos you want to export. Click the checkbox on each video thumbnail, or use select mode to pick several.
  2. In the selection toolbar at the bottom, click Export.
  3. In the export dialog, choose whether to Include subtitles.
  4. Click Export to start.
You’ll see a confirmation that the export has started. You can keep working — Tella prepares the download in the background.
Each video is exported as an MP4 at its own dimensions, so batches with mixed aspect ratios export correctly.

Get your download

When the export finishes, Tella emails you a link to a single zip file containing all of your videos. Each file inside the zip is named after its video. The download link is available for 14 days. If some videos couldn’t be exported, the email tells you how many were left out — the rest are still included in the download.

Good to know

  • The Export button only appears when you can edit every selected video (you’re the creator or an editor).
  • You can export up to 50 videos in a single batch. If you select more, deselect some to continue.
  • Only one batch export can run at a time. If you start another while one is still in progress, Tella asks you to wait — you’ll get an email when the first one is done.
  • Selecting a single video and clicking Export opens the regular download options for that video instead, so you can pick resolution, frame rate, and speed.
