If Tella is prompting you to upgrade — or showing a paywall — even though you’re sure you already paid, the most common cause is that your subscription lives on a different workspace than the one you’re currently viewing. Every Tella workspace has its own plan, its own members, and its own billing. If your account is part of more than one workspace, it’s easy to sign in and land on the wrong one.Documentation Index

Why this happens
A single Tella account can belong to multiple workspaces — for example:- You created a personal workspace at sign-up and later joined (or created) a team workspace.
- You paid to upgrade one workspace, but Tella opened a different one on your next visit.
- You accepted an invite to a teammate’s workspace, which became your active workspace on sign-in.
Check which workspace you’re in
- Click your workspace name in the top-left corner of the sidebar.
- Hover over Workspaces to see every workspace your account belongs to. The workspace you’re currently in has a check mark next to it.
Find your paid workspace
For each workspace in the list:- Click the workspace to switch into it.
- Go to Settings → Plans & Billing.
- Look at the plan shown at the top of the page. If it says Pro or Premium, that’s your paid workspace.
I’m in the right workspace, but it still shows as unpaid
If you’ve confirmed you’re in the correct workspace and it still shows as Free, check your subscription status:- Go to Settings → Plans & Billing.
- Look at the plan shown at the top of the page.
- You may have paid under a different account email. Check the email address on your Tella invoice and compare it to the email you’re logged in with. If they don’t match, sign out and sign back in with the correct email.
- The charge may have failed or been refunded. Check your email for a failed-payment notice from Stripe.
- You’re still in your free trial. New workspaces get a 7-day Pro trial. If the trial has ended and you haven’t subscribed, the workspace reverts to Free.
