You can switch your Tella subscription between Monthly and Yearly billing at any time. Annual billing saves around 50% compared to monthly.

How to switch

  1. Click your workspace name in the top-left corner.
  2. Click Settings in the menu.
  3. Click Plans & Billing in the sidebar.
  4. Use the Monthly / Yearly toggle at the top to preview pricing for the interval you want.
  5. On your current plan, click Switch to annual (or Switch to monthly if you’re on annual).
  6. Confirm the change. Stripe prorates the difference so you only pay for what you use.

What happens to your billing

  • Monthly → Annual: You’re charged the prorated annual amount right away, minus any unused credit from your current monthly period. Your renewal date resets to one year from the switch.
  • Annual → Monthly: Stripe prorates the unused portion of your annual plan as a credit toward your monthly charges.
Switching billing intervals does not change your plan (Pro stays Pro, Premium stays Premium). To change plans, see Switch between Tella Pro and Premium.

Switching from the Stripe portal

You can also manage your billing interval directly in Stripe:
  1. Go to Settings → Plans & Billing.
  2. Click Manage on your current plan.
  3. In the Stripe portal, update your billing interval from there.
