Steps to replace a section of your video
- Open your video: Launch the Tella editor and open the video you wish to edit.
- Duplicate the clip of which you want to replace a section.
- Find the unwanted section in clip 1: Navigate to the point on the timeline where the unwanted section begins.
- Split the clip: Click the Split button to divide the clip at the beginning of the unwanted section.
- End of unwanted section: Move to where the unwanted section ends and click Split again to separate it.
- Delete the unwanted section: Select the split section you wish to remove and press Delete.
- Do the same thing in clip 2: find the end of the unwanted section, split, remove the first part.
- Record or upload a new video which you want to use as a replacement for this section.
- Drag and drop your new clip in between the two other clips.
- Done, you now have 3 clips; original recording part 1, replacement clip, original recording part 2.
