Recorded a video but can’t see it in your library? Work through this list — it covers nearly every case.

1. Check you’re in the right workspace

Videos live in the workspace that was active when you recorded. Click your workspace name in the top left — if you belong to more than one workspace (or have both a personal and a work account), switch between them and check My Videos in each.
If you log in with Google in one place and email/password in another, those may be two different accounts. Try the other login method.

2. Check the Trash

Deleted videos sit in the Trash for 30 days. See How can I recover a deleted video?

3. Check whether the upload finished

Tella uploads while you record, but the upload can only finish while the recorder stays open:
  • Mac / Windows app: keep the app running until the video finishes uploading — quitting pauses the upload, and reopening resumes it.
  • Web app / Chrome extension: don’t close the recording tab or browser until the upload completes.
If you closed the app or tab right after recording, reopen it and give the upload time to finish. More detail in Why is my video taking so long to upload?

4. Still missing?

If none of the above turns it up — especially if you have a share link that works but the video isn’t in your library — contact support via the in-app chat or support@tella.com. Include:
  • The approximate date and time of the recording
  • Which recorder you used (web, Chrome extension, Mac app, Windows app)
  • A share link to the video, if you have one
Recordings can often be recovered on our end even when they never appeared in your library — the sooner you reach out, the better the odds.
