How it works

You can refer friends and earn $20 for each paying customer you bring in. The friend you refer gets 20% off their first 3 months of Tella. To invite a friend and earn $20, use your referral link. To find your link, go to the ‘Refer and Earn’ section in your Tella account settings.
  • If you have a link, copy it and share it with a friend or co-worker.
  • If you don’t have a link, generate it.

Viewer referrals

Once you generate your referral link, it’s linked to your account. This means that anytime someone becomes a customer after watching one of your videos on the view page, you earn a commission.

Analytics

To see if you have generated any referrals, visit your dashboard. You’ll find analytics on:
  1. Clicks (clicked your link)
  2. Leads (signed up for free trial)
  3. Sales (became a paying customer)

Payouts

Commissions are paid out through Dub, which we use to manage our referral program. To receive payouts, you need to connect a payout method in your Dub dashboard. Two payout methods are available:
  • Bank account — Paid in your local currency via Stripe. Transfers can take up to 15 business days.
  • Stablecoin wallet — Paid in USDC with a 0.5% transaction fee. Transfers arrive within minutes.
New commissions go through a 30-day holding period so Dub can check for fraud or self-referrals. Once that period is over, the commission status changes to “Processed” and it will be paid out in the next cycle, at the start of the following month. Payments are made monthly, provided you meet the minimum payout threshold of $100. Any amount below the threshold rolls over to the next payment period. Commissions from refunded or charged-back subscriptions are deducted from future payouts. Fraudulent or invalid referrals (including self-referrals) result in forfeiture of associated commissions. You are responsible for any tax obligations arising from your participation in the referral program. For the full terms, see the Affiliate Program Terms of Service.

About Dub

Tella uses Dub for link analytics and referral links. Your unique referral link stores a cookie in the visitor’s browser for 90 days. If someone clicks your referral link but becomes a Tella customer a month later, the sale is still attributed to you — unless they cleared their cookies in the meantime.
