The Security page in your workspace settings lets you control default access permissions for new videos. For embedding restrictions, see Default embed domains.
Only workspace owners can access these settings.
To configure defaults, click your workspace name in the top-left corner, then go to SettingsSecurity.

Default video access

Controls who can view new videos by default. When a member of your workspace creates a new video, it will automatically use this access level.
OptionDescription
Private (only me)Only the video creator can view the video.
Anyone with the linkAnyone who has the video link can view it.
Workspace membersOnly members of your workspace can view the video.
Members can still change the access level on individual videos after creation. This setting only controls the default for newly created videos.

Listed in workspace

When default video access is set to Workspace members or Anyone with the link, you can choose whether new videos are automatically visible to all workspace members in the shared video library.
  • On — New videos appear in the workspace library for all members.
  • Off — New videos are not shown in the workspace library.
This setting is hidden when default video access is set to Private.

Default workspace role

When default video access is set to Workspace members or Anyone with the link, you can set the default role that workspace members have on new videos:
  • Viewer — Members can watch the video but cannot make changes.
  • Editor — Members can edit the video.
This setting is hidden when default video access is set to Private.
