Hey, welcome back to video number 1 of the Bhagavad Gita Mastery, chapter 16, the Yoga of Divine Attributes, Divine and Demonic.
00:08
And you know, we've come all the way along, we're just getting close to starting scene 1 because Krishna, like, is before Arjun goes to battlefield, is he went through all these things and we've gone through all these things.
00:21
It's time to put all this beautiful knowledge and be like the lion, you know, have these wonderful characters.
00:28
And so Krishna in this chapter talks all about character, because that's the deal, right?
00:33
I mean, there's knowledge, and when all those characters come, it's like you can see the sun, you know, shining.
00:39
And then that's that's the proof that realization is dawned onto us.
00:46
And that is what you're gonna do in this chapter.
00:48
It's gonna be very easy.
00:50
All right, so let's go with Krishna.
00:54
Shri Bhagavan Bachcha, Shri Bhagavan Bachcha.
00:59
Fearlessness, a purity, a sacrifice, self-control, silence, renunciation, tranquility, splendor, cleanlinessโall these are divine qualities.
01:13
Anger, arrogance, excessive vanity, hypocrisy, arrogance is said to be demonic.
01:20
The divine lead to liberation, the demonic lead to bondage.
01:23
This is so beautiful.
01:25
So Krishna just reminds us that, you know, the character is a fruit of yoga.
01:34
Okay, so when we do the two-minute meditation and when we resolve and we practice dharma, then our character is the fruit.
01:42
It's so very important.
01:43
So most people think, you know, I'm gonna change this habit, that habit.
01:46
So Krishna says habits, and I've made a complete Habits Mastery you know, 10-video course where habits are an effect.
01:53
You see, your character is an effect, not a cause.
01:55
So people, the reason why people are not able to form new habits, new characters, because they think habits, you know, you can create a new habit.
02:04
Like, people try and try and they don't succeed.
02:06
And when it happens, it's because the timeline has moved, because the tendencies have crashed by themselves, and you know, the favorable time has come.
02:16
That's why they're able to form a new habit.
02:18
But no one consciously is can in this earth form a new habit because habits is an effect.
02:23
The only thing that can form is this place.
02:27
And so great ones resolve first and then form.
02:31
They resolve first.
02:32
They never form a new habit because you see, you can say I'm gonna do this, I'm gonna do that, but when you get up, who gets up?
02:38
Your tendencies get up, your gunas get up, and you end up doing the same thing.
02:42
And if you if you're very honest, you will notice that in your lifetime you might have made only 2 or 3 habits maximum.
02:49
You're very honest because- and when things happen for you, it's because the timeline moved in your favor, situations were favorable, and then you- a certain thing which you might have thought might have happened.
03:00
But if you had the real ability to, you know, sort of like manifest any habit anytime, then you would be able to do it 365 days.
03:09
If you saw something great, you'd be able to replicate it.
03:11
But you will see it's not possible.
03:13
It's just not possible.
03:15
So great ones know that, so they never formed a new habit, and that's why any they did something else.
03:21
And that's what we are gonna see this today.
03:24
What did they do?
03:25
All right, so are you ready?
03:26
Here we go.
03:28
So what I want you to do is to write down first a vision.
03:32
So we are gonna have a vision.
03:33
So you open your notebook, and I'll try to put the PDF of this, and you've gotta write this very simple vision.
03:39
Great ones had a simple vision.
03:41
My vision is to simplify my daily life so I can practice and realize Dharma.
03:49
You see, this should be your vision, right?
03:52
you know what we what the Western countries call journal and all, I'm gonna produce the greatest journal of all times, which is shared by Krishna and all the sages.
04:03
They had this journal.
04:05
In their head and you can have it in your book.
04:08
The first page should write, my vision is to simplify my daily life.
04:13
Simplify is underlined.
04:15
So that I can practice and realize dharma, which is you can practice and realize.
04:20
That's the vision.
04:21
Okay, that's the 30,000 feet view.
04:23
Now, then you write in the next page a very simple thing, and I'm gonna help you achieve any goal, whatever it is in your life.
04:31
We're gonna get there, okay?
04:33
He who has no debts is happy.
04:35
This was a question asked to Yudhishthira.
04:37
He said, who is the happiest person?
04:39
He who has no debts.
04:41
And he who is the richest person?
04:43
He or she is richest.
04:45
Read he as also she, okay?
04:47
He or she is richest who has no desires.
04:51
You see, don't- I mean, you can have goals, but you should not have desires.
04:55
Desires is constant craving, thinking.
04:58
So it's very important.
05:00
He who has no debts is happy, and he who is the richest person has no desire.
05:04
Now, I just want to tell you, in India, we, you know, before I go forward, I just want to give you a little context.
05:09
In India, we at some point knew that.
05:14
I mean, that's why people were, you know, we didn't have all that rush of mind.
05:18
There were all these, you know, disturbances, but there was a lot of serenity in India, but even about 15-20 years back.
05:26
A lot of things like every country happened, but people knew that that he was no debt.
05:31
Rarely would you see anything called a loan.
05:34
A loan would be like a 10 million, you know, in 1 billion, 4 or 5 people would take a loan.
05:39
People knew the secret that you, you know, whatever you have, you based on what you have, you live your life because the focus was always on dharma.
05:47
But now seeing all the things in the Western world and everything here in India, everyone is taking loans.
05:53
Everyone is doing all these things.
05:54
You got to know that you will never be able to sit in the morning and do your 2-minute meditation if you have to pay a million loan or a mortgage or $100,000 loan or you know whatever country you are in.
06:08
It's very important and I'm not saying you should not take, you know, if you have loan or mortgage, but you should know that this never existed because and this is written on stone, not on sand, that he who has no debts is happy.
06:22
I mean, look at the joy when you pay off the mortgage.
06:25
You're really happy, right?
06:26
That means- and it's very important that you should- if you have a desire, if you have a goal, you should know how to get it, how to manifest the goal.
06:38
And you don't need to take all these loans.
06:40
You see, those people who take loans are all having Rajasic.
06:43
They are called the business people.
06:46
They can do that.
06:47
But because they don't need, they don't want this place, they don't want to, you know, they are not ready for this place consciously.
06:54
That's why they are doing all those things.
06:56
See, if you replicate and if you say, you know, they are making all this money because they take loan.
07:01
Well, if you follow suit with them, you will become like them and you will- you want this, so you should know what are the conditions which can help you get this.
07:10
And so you should not do those things which they do.
07:12
Very important.
07:13
You cannot.
07:14
I mean, I have till date not, and no one told me not to take a loan.
07:18
I just knew it at some level.
07:20
You should know it.
07:21
You you no one can teach you all these things.
07:24
And if you have, now don't worry, you know, I'm gonna teach you a very simple.
07:28
It's very important that you should not, you know, get into all this loan and mortgage because you are being fooled by the world.
07:36
You should know that if you have a goal, You should be able to manifest it with your existing resources.
07:42
It's called resourcefulness, and it's called the secret of everything.
07:47
You know, they let the world do whatever it wants because you should know that he who has no debts is happy.
07:51
Now, I'm gonna help you achieve your goals even if you have taken loan or mortgage or whatever nonsense it is.
07:57
Okay, here's what it is.
07:58
This is the secret of 3 which the great ones use.
08:02
Okay, so in one page, write down 3 goals.
08:07
What are your 3 goals?
08:09
Okay, so the first goal is taken up.
08:11
Okay, that's why we are talking to know, see, and realize God.
08:15
So it should be specific and tangible.
08:18
To know, that's why we are seeing this video.
08:20
To realize, to know, see.
08:22
To know is to watch all videos, read books.
08:25
To see is to do the 2-minute meditation.
08:27
Realize is to carry consciousness daily life.
08:30
So that's our number 1 goal.
08:32
Number 2 and 3, I leave it to you.
08:34
You can pick up a health goal or relationship or monetary goal.
08:37
So it could be like, you know, you you can write this place- never use the word I, right?
08:43
Say this place wants to make $100,000.
08:47
This place wants to complete a book.
08:50
This place wants to complete this project.
08:53
This place wants to do XYZ, whatever it is that you want.
08:57
Then you say, this place wants a beautiful relation, this place wants the cancer to be cured.
09:02
Always say this place.
09:04
Did you get that?
09:05
The second and third is- it's a beautiful thing.
09:07
Just write down 3 goals, okay?
09:09
It's a rule of 3 in one page.
09:11
This place.
09:12
So you have your 3 goals now.
09:13
That's- you should not have more than 3 goals.
09:15
If you have, you know, so pick your second and third goal based on what you want.
09:19
Now, in the next page, write 3 things Again, 3 that irritate you.
09:25
You see, our goal is to get to this.
09:28
I'm gonna show you how you can get to any goal.
09:30
Whatever you write in this 3, you can achieve it under any circumstance.
09:34
It doesn't matter if you have no contact in this world, you know, if you have less resources or whatever it is, you can do that.
09:42
That is what the sages did.
09:43
So the next page, you write 3 things that irritate you.
09:47
Now, this is very important.
09:48
Because you see, we all get up and we get irritated.
09:52
Now, if you study your life for the last 1 year or 2 years, you'll know that there are only 3 things, core things, which might irritate you.
10:00
It could be a people or event, right?
10:02
So you know those people, right?
10:03
Those people who cause the maximum irritation, you know, because they are what is called the tamas tendencies in you, the devilish tendencies.
10:14
So you should be very careful because you want to achieve this.
10:16
You should know the top 3 events or people who are irritating you.
10:20
So in some my case, I would get tremendously irritated by the way the government works and I would talk.
10:25
But then I realized, you know, it's like I'm wasting my time and energy.
10:29
And so you've gotta check that.
10:30
And then some people, you know, get very passionate about sports.
10:34
I was very passionate about cricket and I used to talk for 3 hours.
10:38
Now I can't even talk 3 seconds because you should know that You know, things which you even feel like good, you're doing something good or talking something, you should know that it is because you are, you know, this is, these are the reasons why you're not able to achieve this because you're diverting all your energy in unwanted area.
10:57
So find out those things which you are talk about too much, those things which irritate you or which take up your time, okay, and which is not in any way related to this goal.
11:10
Very important.
11:10
It's simple things.
11:11
I mean, we're not talking about- and let it be very specific.
11:14
So when you write these 3 goals, again, one of the points I forgot is write very specific.
11:18
Like, this place, you know, will help me make $100,000.
11:23
Put a number, make it tangible.
11:25
This place will help me get up at 5 o'clock.
11:27
This place will help me write 20 pages of the book.
11:30
Make it specific and tangible.
11:33
Tangible meaning it should be you can you know measure it.
11:38
And specific meaning a date.
11:40
So a date and you know number like, at this place will help me write 100 or write write a 200-page book in less than 2 months.
11:54
Did you get that?
11:55
Every single goal, these 2 things should be there, a number and a date.
12:01
And should be less than 30 days.
12:03
Never say 30 days, less than 30 days.
12:06
20 pages.
12:07
This place, and use this place.
12:08
So this place, tangible and specific.
12:11
And it would be so beautiful if you you'll get so much clarity.
12:14
It's such a beautiful thing.
12:16
And so same way, things that irritate you, you know, this place talks too much of you know, and you can replace this place now, which actually with the mind, you know.
12:26
You know, my mind, you know, talks to us about the government, or my talk- my mind talks to to us about this nut or whatever it is.
12:36
So, 3 things that irritate you.
12:38
Okay, again, be very specific, and you can say the number of hours that you spend roughly around whatever.
12:43
Specific and tangible, so important.
12:45
Then in the next page, write 3 things that you want to improve.
12:49
See, there are only 4 pages and we have come to the third page.
12:52
3 things that you want to improve.
12:54
Now, one of the first things you should write is, you should write, at this place, wants to follow best practice.
13:01
See, whatever goals you write here can only be achieved when you follow best practice.
13:07
What does best practice mean?
13:08
Someone has already achieved whatever you want already.
13:11
No matter what you take in this world, someone has already done that job on earth.
13:16
You want to see God, someone has done that.
13:17
You want to make a billion dollars, someone has done that.
13:20
You want to have the most beautiful relationship?
13:21
Someone has done it.
13:22
You want to have the most beautiful health?
13:23
Someone has done that.
13:24
So they have laid the blueprint.
13:26
So we are not following the blueprint.
13:29
Why?
13:29
Because of our gunas, our tendencies.
13:31
That's as it is.
13:33
So this place will help you follow best practices by destroying the tendencies.
13:38
Because once the tendency is destroyed, you should know why you're not achieving this thing.
13:42
So you write 3 things you want to improve.
13:45
This is what I wrote.
13:46
That this place will allow me to follow the best practices in whatever it is that I want.
13:51
If I want to, you know, make a million dollars, how do those people make launches, you know, or write a book?
13:56
How do the great best-selling authors, you know, write a book?
14:00
Because there are books already available.
14:02
So follow best practices.
14:03
Second, right, you can say this place, you know, wants to be inspired to continue even in the midst of challenges, you see, and you can write.
14:12
So So 3 things you want to improve, make it very specific.
14:15
I'll leave it to you.
14:16
This is very important.
14:18
So 3 goals, 3 things that irritate you, 3 things you want to improve.
14:21
Now, now comes the magic.
14:23
Once you have done these 3, now comes the 3 resolve.
14:29
You see, I told you, great ones don't make a habit.
14:32
What they do is they resolve.
14:34
Once you have written these 3, now you go to the lake.
14:39
I told you the lake, the river, which where the lion meets, where lion sees the reflection, that's our meditation place.
14:45
The river is the universal Brahman, the consciousness, where the lion, that is the field, nowhere within us, sees its reflection.
14:52
There you go, and you take this 3, you write it down, you can refine it as you go, and there you resolve.
15:00
You see, you replace habits with resolution, resolve.
15:04
The word is resolve.
15:05
It's called in Sanskrit, sankalpa.
15:08
There, the lion sees his reflection and you resolve at this place that this place will do the first 2 hours.
15:17
You start with this, this place will in the first 2 hours do these things.
15:23
This place will keep its mouth shut in this thing, whatever it is.
15:26
See, based on the goal you have written and the things which irritate you and the improvements, you make 3 resolves, 3 sankalpa.
15:36
Where?
15:37
At the at the river, with your reflection, the field, no, you resolve in this place and you write, this place will spend the first 2 hours doing whatever it is.
15:51
Let's say an action task.
15:52
So this is all action task realization.
15:55
This place will do the first 2 hours.
15:57
This place will not, you know, will not answer back or whatever, will will not enter into conversation if you're having a horrible conversation, or this place will love more, whatever.
16:13
You you gotta be tangible and specific, I told you.
16:17
But you resolve.
16:19
Resolve means you put that thing into daily practice.
16:22
You see, if It should be something which is action-oriented.
16:25
It should not be a philosophical statement.
16:28
You see, this place will make- will ensure that the first 2 hours of my day I spend, for example, in my case, I said first 3 hours making videos.
16:37
That's what I'm doing for the last 1 month.
16:39
It's been great.
16:40
Just 1 resolution I made at the river has paid off like for an entire lifetime of my dream has been achieved.
16:46
Just by this 1 resolution, 1 resolve, not resolution, resolve.
16:50
It's called sankalp.
16:51
I just made one sankalpa that the first 3 hours of my day, this place will help me make the videos of Bhagavad Gita.
16:59
And I thought it would take a year, and my whole lifelong dream has been achieved.
17:03
That's how powerful it is.
17:04
Then this place, I said, would- you know, you can do it in relationships, in health, whatever it is that you want.
17:12
Just make 3 so that you can do that, and that's all you need.
17:16
And make the 3 based on your goals.
17:19
So this resolve, sankalpa, will help you achieve this.
17:23
Magic will happen.
17:24
Magic things, unbelievable, will happen.
17:27
You know why?
17:27
Because you went to the this place.
17:30
You didn't use your mind and your intellect.
17:31
You didn't get into phenomena.
17:33
Because you manifested exactly like the sages.
17:36
You know, here's what I you have to ask yourself in this that river: how can I do the important things in an easy way?
17:42
I ask this all the time.
17:44
See, what we are doing is we are trying to do all the easy things.
17:48
You have to do the important things in an easy way.
17:52
Did you get that?
17:53
The most important things, the things which matter the most, in an easy way.
17:57
You want to do all easy things, drop that, renounce that.
18:00
Rather ask, what, how can I do the most, the important things?
18:05
And you know the important things, just 3.
18:07
That's all, just 3.
18:09
This 3 is all action-oriented steps.
18:12
Which will help you overcome irritation.
18:15
All energy will be directed here.
18:17
All your improvement will be directed here.
18:19
And all it takes is sankalpa.
18:21
How can I do the important things in an easy way?
18:23
Very simple, all 3, 3.
18:25
So when you do this, you will notice that you can you just have 3 sankalpas in a day.
18:31
Then as you get better in that, you can have also a sankalpa for 3 in a month.
18:36
Make the same chart, 4 charts.
18:38
For a month.
18:40
You know, you can have- then you make it 3 for a year, then for 3 for a lifetime.
18:44
And so just these 4 pages: your vision, your 3 goals, your 3 things that irritate you, 3 things you want to improve, and 3 sankalpas.
18:54
You can achieve anything that you set.
18:57
And you can have it for a day, a month, once you get better, a year.
19:01
You can have a lifetime journal.
19:04
That's how you do, and that's how you get everything done in your life.
19:08
Thank you and God bless.

The Secret recipe of execution followed by wise beings โ Tella
