After a beautiful 2-minute meditation, see this transformation.
00:10
Kevin watched as the ripe ego and the unripe egoโthe distinction was made by God.
00:16
If you notice carefully, meditation does not remove or add anything, Kevin.
00:20
It only introduces the river of truth, your consciousness, which has been covered by tendencies.
00:26
The moment you do this, something magical happens.
00:28
The mind which is filled with thoughts magically reshuffles into ripe and unripe ego.
00:33
What is ripe ego?
00:34
All your thought sattvic thoughts, Kevin, magically rise to the surface of your being.
00:39
Sattvic thoughts are those thoughts which get the important work in your life done, like a big goal or a project or a book you you want to write, or anything that is important.
00:49
The cluster of sattvic and rajasic thoughts on the surface bring clarity and a sense of purpose and initiate the right action, Kevin.
00:57
Now it gets even better once the tamas thoughts and the unwanted rajasic thoughts settle down and becomes very easy for you to melt your unripe ego into the river of truth.
01:08
So you offer all your unripe ego into the river of truth.
01:12
The great ones say, Kevin, the fruit of meditation produces two beautiful flowers.
01:17
They are Viveka, which is called discrimination, and Vairagya, which is called renunciation.
01:22
Step 1 in the 2-minute meditation, Kevin, is called Viveka, the discrimination between real and unreal.
01:29
Viveka knows that a cloud is a cloud is a cloud.
01:33
The tendencies are clouds that hinder right action.
01:35
So only those tendencies that are needed to initiate a right action is called to the surface, just like the actor remembers the script, calls up the right talent in him to produce a beautiful scene.
01:46
Step 2 is called Vairagya, renunciation.
01:50
It means melting the unripe ego in the river of truth.
01:53
After a beautiful 2-minute meditation, look at this transformation, Kevin.
02:04
Your consciousness enters into every scene with only the ripe ego and you becoming a powerhouse in this world.
02:11
Anything you touch turns golden.
02:13
To perfect this, Kevin, it takes 12 years.
02:15
This system is called the Yoga of Krishna.
02:18
It is taught 5,000 years back by Krishna, who arrived in the form of God, just like me.
02:23
The secret was revealed to a few sages, who in turn revealed it to the kings.
02:28
But with passage, the great men and women did not appear in the screen of life, and so this Yoga of Krishna got lost.
02:34
Now again, this place revealed it to you.
02:37
Wow, this is so beautiful and transformational, replied Kevin.
02:41
The practice of this yoga of Krishna under the tree of meditation is called Dharma, Kevin.
02:46
As you get better, the fruits ripen in the tree of meditation and beautiful events happen in your life.
02:51
The biggest mistake which everyone is making today is throwing their unripe ego into the world in other people's faces instead of melting their unripe ego in the river of truth.
03:01
Great ones call this mistake Adharma.
03:04
That which shuns Dharma, which is the cause of all confusion, anxiety, frustration, misery, and sadness in this world.
03:12
This failure to embrace truth results in living your life based on tendencies.
03:17
You don't live and die, Kevin.
03:19
It's your tendencies which live and die.
03:21
Life continues without a purpose when it's driven by tendencies, and you're driven from pleasure to pain, success to defeat, and thrown into the running train again and again.
03:30
With a new set of parents, brothers, wives, husbands, and children under a new circumstance, and life continues forever, beginning with a tendency and ending with a tendency and getting carried forward.
03:41
Dharma breaks this jinx in 2 minutes.
03:44
Krishna, the master practitioner of this 2-minute meditation, says, "In the sphere of Karma Yoga, there is no loss of good beginnings." What this means is you can practice this 2-minute meditation even if everything in your life is screwed up.
03:57
And it will work beautifully.
03:59
Everyone has sattvic thoughts.
04:01
It might be buried deep down, but meditation will bring it up.
04:05
That is its power.
04:06
You are as good as the thoughts in your surface, Kevin.
04:10
Meditation helps you there.
04:12
Adharma brings tamas thoughts to the surface.
04:15
Dharma brings sattvic thoughts.
04:17
It will work even for the worst person on earth, so long as one is ready to practice and keep practicing.
04:23
Kevin, in this world, mental suffering happens because one mistakes their tendencies, their gunas, to be desires which spring from repeated thoughts, and they act on it.
04:33
Let me show you something, Kevin.
04:35
Give me your iPad and watch this video.
04:37
This footage was taken a month back in one of the wildlife sanctuaries.
04:41
The train was speeding through, Kevin, in rapt attention and God blazing to the tach of the consciousness.
04:46
A lion was wandering the sanctuary and suddenly it came across a mirror.
04:49
It got so frightened with its reflection that it ran away.
04:52
For a moment, it mistook its reflection to be something harmful.
04:56
Watch this video once every day, Kevin.
04:59
It's a beautiful meditation itself.
05:01
Every single day, events and people that spring in your life are the reflection of your own distorted mind.
05:08
You get afraid and run away from the mirror of life, and sometimes you get close to it and you're comfortable.
05:13
Every day you're either kissing the mirror or running away from it because of your tendencies.
05:18
Some appear to be good and some you move closer to it.
05:21
Some appear bad and you run away.
05:23
All the time it's a lion reacting to its reflection.
05:26
People and events in this world, Kevin, are nothing but reflections, mirrors.
05:31
They appear to be real to you because you, the lion, appear distorted because of your tendencies.
05:36
Meditation brings it back to order.
05:38
Meditation, Kevin, is the most beautiful meeting of your individual consciousness with the reflection of the universal consciousness in the river of truth.
05:47
When you step out of meditation to the waking world, your individual tendencies meet up with the reflection of the universal tendencies of the entire world.
05:54
There are 3 types of mirror of universal tendencies, Kevin.
05:58
They are a sattvic mirror, a rajasic mirror, and a tamasic mirror.
06:02
The people you meet, the books you read, the videos you watch, the events that unfold, all come under one of these 3 mirrors.
06:08
Wherever you go, the 3 mirrors follow you in the form of a person or event.
06:12
That's the reason great ones say, "Do not criticize anyone or correct a Tamas mirror," because when you do that, you're actually calling up your own Tamas impression, and that will be reflected back on you.
06:22
Stay away from Tamas mirrors wherever possible.
06:25
The first law of Dharma, Kevin, is not to disturb anyone's mind.
06:29
They say even good things cannot be shared before time, because a mind that is disturbed is Tamas, and that will trigger the Tamas in you.
06:37
When things are going bad for you, it only means the reflection is bad.
06:41
So the easiest way out is to go back to the river of truth, or you should seek a Satvik mirror in the form of a book or video or person.
06:49
Most people, when the times are bad, they seek another Tamasic mirror like drinking or pleasure, and they destroy themselves.
06:56
Thine is the hand that holds the rope that drags thee down, Kevin.
07:00
You're all the while fighting with your reflection.
07:03
That is the reason great ones say, give up anger, craving, arrogance, hypocrisy, because they are all unripe ego.
07:10
Imagine getting angry before a mirror or having pleasure with a mirror.
07:14
How foolish that will be, but we do that all the time.
07:18
When you get perfect in Viveka and Vairagya, discrimination and renunciation, you will stand before the mirror and have a hearty laugh, and of how foolish you were.
07:27
You could not recognize your tendencies which split your consciousness into subject object.
07:32
Until you master this yoga of Krishna, you have to work with the attitude of the actor who wonderfully performs his role, executing his ripe ego, bathing in the river of truth.
07:41
Every time you are in trouble, watch this video, Kevin, and meditate.
07:45
With time, you will become a master.
07:47
That was meaty, God.
07:49
It'll take a while to digest all this, God.
07:51
yeah, yeah.
07:53
It takes 12 years, Kevin, but despair not.
07:55
It's time well spent.
