Introducing the Question Bank Feature 📚

Hi everyone, welcome to this new video.

in this new video, I'll quickly give an update on a new feature that we're launching today, and it's called Question Bank.

And so a Question Bank is a page in your settings where you can store a set of screener or topic guide questions.

So as you can see here, there's a new tab here in the settings menu, and basically what you can do here is you can create a set of questions that either fits into the screener part or in the topic guide part of your studies.

And so if you have a set of questions that you always want to ask, or always ask the same set of questions for different types of studies, then you could store them here.

And then when creating a study, import them into your study guide so that you don't have to add the same questions all the time.

And so as you can see here, you can create a new set.

let's say we call it test for today, and it can either be a screener or a topic guide set.

And then you can create the set.

And as you can see, you now have an empty set where you can add questions or quotas.

But so for the purpose of this video, I've already prepared a small example for- let's say you want to have a few questions about soda markets.

So as you can see, you can define questions here, you can add new ones.

But in this case, we have two questions: in which country do you live, and what's your favorite drink.

Then we made a hidden variable out of this, so to call- we call it the soda drinkers.

this is also a new feature that we recently launched, for which there is a different video available.

but so basically we have the Belgian Coca-Cola drinkers if they all have answered these options, and the American Pepsi drinkers.

And so then you can even have another question where you route or insert the answer that they they gave in question 2.

And so you see you basically have this template of questions which you might want to import into new studies.

And then as you can see, you can also configure quotas.

so if you maybe if you import these sets of questions, you always want to have 50/50 split across across those two profiles, or maybe even you want to have some quotas on your demographics.

and then you can also predefine them here.

And so that's how you set up a set of questions in the question bank.

And so how do you then use this?

here I'm here in an empty study guide, and let's say that we want to add these questions to the screener section.

You can import them from the question bank.

And so in this case, I want to import the soda market segments.

You can choose to import individual questions, and then you can just only add those too.

or if you want to import a hidden variable, then you'll have to choose all questions that are linked to that hidden variable.

Otherwise, you cannot resolve the hidden variable.

In this case, I'll just select all questions so that I can import all of them.

But because I have now also selected the quotas, and as you said, it's as it was configured as a percentage.

So now that needs to be translated to an actual number of people.

And so let's say in this case that we take 100 people that we want to interview in this study, then 50 people will be assigned to the Belgian drinkers and and and 50 people to the US drinkers.

And so now you can import those 4 questions together with their quota group.

And so there you go, 4 questions now in the screener, also available as a quota here down below.

Set up as 50/50 people and no people in the no match because that's how it was configured in the question bank.

let's say now that you add another question here, and it can maybe it's a multi-select question and let's say test question just to keep it short for now, but you can also attach this new question to that set so that you can use it in the future.

And so you can say add to the question bank.

And so in this case, I want to add it to an existing set, which is the Sona Market Segment, and then I save the question.

So, and then you can open it again and you can see here is your test question now part of the question bank in your settings.

Yeah, so that's it.

you can now save sets of screener questions and topic guide questions at your organization level and import them in any new studies that you might want to run.

Okay, see you guys.
