Mobile Screen Sharing 📱

All right, let me show you how the mobile screen sharing function is configured and what it eventually looks like.

So on the study design page, if I go to my study settings in the recording tab, there is of course the screen sharing options like you already know.

now with the mobile app being launched there's a new section called Allow Device Types where you can toggle on or off the desktop or the mobile experience.

Now why is this There is a clear Like a mobile experience can be vastly different from a desktop experience so you might not be interested in one or the other.

so you can toggle it on or off.

So you'll have the mobile screen captured on the left and the camera on the right still and the user is asked to, it's like a normal screen sharing study to walk through their experience.

and in this case I'm searching for both and you can see the whole experience while the participant is talking through.

There are also some facets related to this.

so for example you can see the device type, you can see the device OS in case that is something you're interested in or you want to do a drill down on So what does it look like if, I don't have one of these enabled?

Let's say, for example I only want mobile, so I disable desktop.

If I would, go to a test interview, and go through the screeners, I get prompted to do, this on another device.

if I can't use a phone, I'm basically screened out.

If I can use a phone, I get a QR code to scan to continue the interview on the phone.

and if needed, it will also prompt to download the app.

So that's the mobile screen sharing feature.

let's get it in the hands of our clients.
