Detailed Trellus/Google Sheets Integration

with Trellis.

And today we're going to be going over our full step by step walkthrough and integration into Google Sheets.

So as you can see on my screen right here, I have some mock data points that we have three contacts that I loaded in that we are going to connect to Trellis and then we are going to start dial.

So as you can see, I have the Chrome extension installed in the upper right hand side of my screen.

You never really have to open this.

It's just how we embed ourselves into the Google Sheet itself.

So you'll notice we have a Trellis button right here which will open up the dialer.

And now you'll notice that we're going to first authorize Trellis to access the sheet.

So we're going to click on Authorize, scroll down to grant access to this sheet.

That's going to pull up another tab here where we'll just continue with Grant access.

And then it will give us the option to select this test sheet.

And then it will go ahead and say refresh status.

And now it'll say the sheet is ready, so we'll return.

And now everything is all checked and ready to go, so we'll exit out of this window.

Now the second thing we'll want to do is configure our mappings here.

And essentially what this is doing is you are telling Trellis what field inside our system corresponds to what column inside of your sheet.

Essentially it's just telling us where your information is at so that we can read it properly.

So for this instance for the name, I just want to make sure that the name is linked to that.

For email, we can do an email and then really the only critical other one here is the mobile number.

So we can scroll down and select phone number, because that's the column in my sheet that has the only phone number in it.

Now we have a lot of other options.

If you have like a company name you want to put in there, or if you want to do some other different configurations, it's totally up to you.

But the real critical ones are named phone number.

And then I personally like to have company on there just to give me some added context.

So we'll go ahead and click Save.

And now you'll notice that all my contacts, three of them at least, are being pulled into the dialer with one of them being filtered out.

So each person will have their contact tile.

But we also recommend if you do see any in this filtered section, to click into them and then just see why our system is filtering it out.

So in this instance, it's just a time zone issue which you can adjust your settings or you can modify your data set with the phone numbers to bring them back into the dialable section Here, basic setup is you select how many people you want to dial up here.

1x being your power dialer, 5x being your parallel dialer, and then, well, I should say 2x to 5x being your parallel dialer.

You have your voicemail dropdown here where you pre record with the microphone and then select whichever option you want to drop for any voicemail greeting you receive.

And then for specifically parallel dialing, we have a screener drop here.

So operates the exact same way.

Record with the microphone, select whichever option you want.

And in this instance, what it will do is, let's say, for example, you're calling two people, one of them has a screener.

In the past, what would happen is that we would connect you to that call because it's not a voicemail.

So in theory it must be a human.

But instead this button, when activated, looks for those screener drops.

So instead of patching you through and disconnecting all those other potential hangups, and it will leave that prerecorded message, continue to ring your other lines, and then only if a human picks up will it pat you through.

So a bit of an efficiency bump there for you.

Once these are configured, you are ready to start dialing.

So all you have to do is press this play button and then it will highlight the person here that you are calling and then begin to ring them.

As you move through your calls, we will log additional columns in your sheet, much like you can see in this existing sheet that I have.

So again, this is my original data set that I've highlighted.

And then these additional columns are what Trellis is actually logging for you.

So a couple highlights.

Total call attempts, any notes that we log after each call, dispositions all included here.

We will also include a section for follow ups.

So if you do want to set a cadence to your people in here, you are absolutely able to do that.

We recommend just putting a filter on this column and, and then sorting by whoever you want to be due for this particular day.

And then it will only bring up those people, you launch the dialer and then it will go ahead and refresh everything so that you can pull only those people into the dialer.

So back to our original sheet here.

A couple other buttons I think are worthwhile.

these three up at the top are our most heavily used ones.

So this no Contact filter will only show prospects who you have never actually called before for.

So this is you've never dialed them, you've never done anything with them.

They are purely cold contacts.

This no reach.

Similar, but a little bit different.

This will pull up people who you have called but have never actually talked to before.

So think about your voicemails, your no answers, etc.

And then this rows button will allow you to select which row you want us to start pulling data from.

So let's say you get through 50 contacts in one sitting and and then the next sitting you come back and you say, well, I need to start at row 51 because I called all these people very recently.

You Simply type in 51 and then it will start to pull from row 51 onward.

Couple other highlights inside of here, you can listen to music while you dial.

Spotify, YouTube and Apple Music are all supported, so you're more than welcome to connect anything here.

And then the music will pause as soon as you get connected to a call.

So you're not fumbling around with a bunch of buttons.

is effective.

Click to dial.

Inside of here is going to be this button right here.

So you just simply click on the phone number of the person you want to dial.

This has nothing to do with auto dialing.

This is a one off.

So if you need to do a click to dial, you're more than welcome to do that.

last couple things here at the bottom of the dialer we have three tabs here.

Your cancel tab.

This is dedicated for any lines that you have hung up on during parallel dialing because you got connected to somebody else.

So brief recap.

You're calling three people.

One of them answers, we will patch you through to that person.

The other two lines will be disconnected and then those two lines will go into this canceled tab for you to go back and then recall later if you'd like.

This inbound tab collects all the inbound calls that you receive back.

So not only will we populate them on your screen as an inbound call that you can live answer, but if you happen to miss them, they will go down to this inbound tab so you can call those people back so specifically.

And then of course, all your logged calls, we log them into this section right here so you can go back and reference the contacts you have already dialed and then call them back again if the need arises.

So our configure column mappings down here is what we set up in the first place.

So you can see they'll bring up Just the same exact page.

So if you do need to edit this later on, this is where you would do that.

Down at the bottom here we have a couple of options that are worth mentioning.

This is the keypad.

So this is not to call.

This is purely when you're navigating extensions or a number tre while you're on the phone call, to the right of that is your notes section.

So this is for taking live notes on the call.

We will populate AI post call notes for your completed calls.

But if you wanted to add more information or remember something while you were actually on the call, this is a fantastic way to go in and do that.

And then any notes inside of here will sync with our post call notes so you will not lose them after the call is completed.

Audio settings right here.

Very straightforward.

You can test out your input and output devices as needed.

And then if you wanted to make a one off phone call.

So again, has nothing to do with auto dialing.

This is like you punch in a number and you dial.

Very simple.

has again nothing to do with your auto dialer here and then your settings over here in the bottom right.

So you can customize more of your workflow.

Like, hey, how long do I want it to be in between dials?

You can set it up to 35 seconds I believe in here, but most folks will keep it down between usually 1 and 10 seconds.

So there's a lot of information in here that you can go through to customize to your specific workflow.

Then once you're comfortable, go ahead and click Save and it's all ready to go for you.

I certainly hope you've enjoyed watching.

Of course.

We're more than happy to help, but looking forward to working with you.

Have a good day.
