Codemap: Understand Code & Git Changes 🗺️

My name is Roshan, I'm a software engineer and I have built a project with for this hackathon called Codemap.

So Codemap basically its job is to you know explain a repo, a repository or git changes to the developer.

So it kind of like helps the developer in a developer workflow.

So I'll just show you the current how it looks like.

So if I show you here.

So yeah so this is, this is the thing project and it kind of like has a lot of UI like it's a map.

So basically what in an overview it's like it has a changes of backend.

It have taken the changes of front end and also the test files.

So everything will be shown at once.

And the good thing like the helpful thing is is that Let's say I want to just understand because why I built this is because right now nowadays there is so Excuse me There is so much AI content it's very hard to understand the code because so much code has been like.

It's been generated by this ar with agent decoding.

So to have like understanding and we know that we are going in a proper direction.

It is easy to see the git changes and know that okay okay this we are going in this direction and it's all good.

So it kind of like reads the is from the root.

so in the root this file was not there and this were added and these are the things and it depends does it depend on any file?

No.

So it kind of like gives us that kind of life.

So if we go for this one let's say map AI map map API go.

It kind of like gives us the current changes that are happening.

how it was previously in the last commit and now what are the changes that have has happened and also we can see analyze with the bob.

So when we do analyze it kind of like gives you all the this thing.

You know what are the things it did and what changes it has done and what other places this component has been called.

So this analyze feature is with the BOB API token ape key and basically we can use it for anything like also I have also made a feature where we can kind of like track to component and understand with bob.

So this is very helpful for developers to understand the code base.

It makes it easy to read and also there are like small small features where it can be grown to a much bigger project.

But since there is a time constraint, I kind of made it minimal, this thing.

So it helps you understand this thing.

and also there is a relationships of the files and the project, how it is going.

So that's it.

That's the project.

And thank you so much for this opportunity.
