Filters and LUT Support 🎨

Hey everyone.

Today we're launching two neat new features, filters and LUT support.

To use a filter, click on the style option and then head down to Filters.

Here you'll see, a group of presets which you can click on.

And then you can see the preview the canvas of your video change.

And there's a bunch of fun ones that you play with.

Golden Hour's cool Vivid's probably a little bit intense.

but then you can customize these and, here you can open up the advanced settings and then you can create the exact filter, that you want by adjusting exposure and contrast and, other settings like that until you find something that works great for your camera.

It also works for screen recordings.

So you can change the sort of color and overall look of a screen recording, Now the other feature that we've added today is support for LUTs.

what is a LUT?

LUT stands for lookup table.

Luts are basically with a lot more, granular control over, the image, over the appearance of the video or the camera track.

In your case, we've added, a couple of preset luts that you can play around with, modeled on some, familiar aesthetics.

This one is meant to look a little bit like, Wes Anderson film.

We've got Portra as well, which is meant to be modeled on the famous, Kodak Portra 400 film.

but Luts really, are for you to then upload your own LUT file.

If you are someone that's worked in other, video editing software and you're using Tella and you like to dabble in a bit more of the advanced stuff.

Then, then you can upload, your cube file, and that'll live in here.

So I've got a bunch of other ones that I've played around with and added in here.

So that is filters and luts live for you today in Tella.
