A Very Nice Delve Update

Hello, everyone.

It has been quite a while since I was last on your screens on a Delve Updates video.

Thanks to Matt, who has been doing an incredible job sending out Delve updates and also Andrew.

But I'm coming out of my retirement to share one with you that is deeply personal to me and that's because this is a very design forward Delve Updates It's one of the biggest visual changes that we've ever done for Delve.

It's the, evolution, it's growth, it's change.

She's her, she's mother, it's those kinds of things.

So when you open Delve you will see something very familiar and also new all at once, much like many things in life.

When you step into Delve today, you will notice that the sidebar is drastically refreshed.

It's now light gray.

We're saying goodbye to the black.

And you'll notice at the very top, you'll have a little project selector here.

instead of listing every project on your team in the sidebar, we keep you kind of grounded in the project that you're currently on.

And you can easily switch between those by clicking on this and looking at your different projects.

If you are on multiple teams, you can change your team by hovering over the Change Team button.

You'll then see the team options you have.

I'm only in one team right now.

then as we go down the options, you'll see the Create Report button, which takes you to create a report.

You'll see your dashboard, which takes you to your dashboard.

As you would expect.

You also see settings, which I'll get into in a minute.

And you'll see a quick search button, which will open you up in a new quick search.

And then you'll see a dropdown that says trackers.

And this is all the trackers that you have on your project.

You can collapse that and hide it if you want to, not be looking at them in a list.

But most of you will probably see three trackers in this list.

Some of you might have more and when you click on them you will instantly kind of be inside of the tracker with the sidebar still visible.

And this just makes it a lot easier to navigate your projects.

That's really all I can say about that.

If the sidebar is too big for your tracker and your mind and you need more space, you can collapse the sidebar down here in the bottom left corner it just makes it a lot easier to switch around.

And if you want to switch between your trackers without opening that sidebar up, you can do that like this.

everything in your tracker is remaining the same.

Same goes for dashboard Create report flows.

One thing that has changed just a tiny bit is the settings.

So before this redesign we had team settings, tracker settings, project settings.

We still have all the same settings, but we've made it way easier to use them by putting them all in one place, frankly.

So when you click on settings here, you're going to see your monitoring settings, which includes your project setup type stuff, your competitors, your themes, your automations.

And then, the second section in this column is your team settings.

If you enter settings via this little gear icon up in the teams, area, you'll just get dropped straight into the team settings.

So that's got your team name, it's got the members on your team, your usage information and lists and integrations.

We will talk more about lists in a minute.

And then below you'll have the settings for each of your trackers, which is familiar, looks just like usual.

So your search, setup, topics, key messages and all of that.

And you can click on your search go in there, that'll open up.

So this is just, in my opinion, a far superior experience for using delve.

Makes it a lot easier to access your settings, makes it so you don't have to go looking for stuff which, remembering which is team, which is project, which is tracker, whatever.

one important thing that we want to talk about is there's a bit of an update to lists, which I think you all are going to really enjoy.

So, so we've moved lists.

Basically they used to live inside of your projects we have moved them up higher.

They now are part of your team, which means that you can share lists with other projects on your team.

If you're working on the agency side and you're working for similar lists frequently, you don't have to duplicate those all the time.

You can go in and, you know, use a list that someone has already created if you know that that's the list you need.

So functionally, nothing's really changing about lists except that you can now see them in kind of a streamlined, design here in a row.

You can sort them by name or how recently they were edited.

When you go to create a new list, you'll see the exact same panel as before.

And this is just paving the way for us to make it a lot easier for you to utilize lists without having to constantly update them.

we'll have more updates coming on list soon, but step one is that they have just kind of moved to a new spot.

Should feel exactly the same.

but it'll make it easier to use them and share them with other team members.

So I hope that you guys are as excited about this new side panel and settings layout as I am.

I know that graphic design is my passion, but I hope that it will become yours very soon.
