Intro to The Writing Agent

You'll find it in the navigation bar of your command center under the Writing agent tab.

This is where you shape your outbound messaging globally across every single campaign.

You can also work with a writing agent inside of a single campaign.

It's the exact same screen and experience.

The only difference is the scope.

Anything that you change there is impacts that one campaign and nothing else.

Now, once you're inside of the writing agent, the screen splits into two.

On the left you have the chat.

This is where you chat with Jemi and honestly, this is where you're going to spend 99% of your time.

On the right is your preview.

This isn't a sample, by the way.

This is real messaging for real prospects in an audience.

And you can actually flip between these prospects and watch as your copy changes based off of the signals available at the contact and at the account level.

You can use these filters up here to swap your audience on the fly or take a look at an audience for a specific campaign.

Above the preview, you have three preview, instruction and content.

The chat drives your changes.

These three tabs are where you see and manage them.

So let's actually make a change down here in the chats, I can type.

Can you make the tone more casual?

Now watch what it does.

Jemmy starts to think and rather than executing it, comes back and tells you, hey, casual can mean a whole bunch of different things.

Can you clarify?

Any vague instruction is the fastest way to end up with messaging that you didn't ask for.

So this way Gemmi confirms what you actually meant before it writes anything down.

Once I answer, I get two things.

A plain English summary of what changed.

And this card here shows me four options.

I can preview the draft to see how it applied.

These instructions I can undo or publish directly.

Let's do another one.

This time we're going to add some content.

I'm going to type forward slash.

This, by the way, is a little shortcut that gives the chats a starting point for whatever you're trying to add, whether it's new instructions or new content.

In this case, I'm going to put case study and I'm going to tell it only use this case study for cybersecurity companies.

Jemi's actually going to the link that I provided, reading all of the content in that case study and writing the content for us.

And also see how it applied the correct filters so that this customer story only surfaces for cybersecurity prospects.

Let's head back to the Content tab because it's really worth understanding that the content is everything that Gemi pulls from when it writes.

The most important piece is your value proposition, and it's the one content type that's required because it's the foundation for how Jemi talks about your product.

What do you do?

What's your product for?

How does it talk about the pain points that you solve for each Persona?

For us, at least when we go after a marketing leader versus a, sales or rev ops leader, they're all gonna get different messaging.

A lot of teams will have a general value prop, plus some specific ones for industries that they like to go after.

Quick note here on value props.

This is one that some folks miss.

This is read top to bottom like a waterfall.

Jemi starts at the first one and if prospects don't match these filters, it moves down to the next.

So keep your more specific value props at the top and the general one at the bottom with no filters attached.

Everything else in here is optional.

Case studies, links, product updates, email templates and more.

But we do recommend adding them in order to make your messaging stronger.

Last Stop Here is the Instructions tab.

This is the raw text of everything that you've told Gemmi.

You can edit it directly, but you can treat this as advanced mode.

The chat phrases your instructions better and files them into the right place within these instructions.

So unless you need to just change a single word or number, go ahead and use the chat for a better experience.

At the bottom of this tab you'll see a history dropdown that shows every change in your messaging over time.

What's changed, when, who made that change.

You'll also see your unpublished drafts in this area as well with Publish and undo right here so that you can go back and preview what things look like before your drafts will auto save so you can walk away mid change and it'll be waiting for you right here when you get back.
