Hello, I'm, Abby Langstaff.

I'm the founder of Digitech, which is a Series A recruitment business.

So we help a lot of tech and AI businesses who have just raised Series A to hire their full engineering teams.

All right, thank you so much for joining us here at the first edition of the Mastermind.

How is your experience so far?

I've tried to create this nature, mindset that systems al together.

But how do you feel about this so far?

My experience has been fantastic so far.

For me, there is just something super special about being in person.

There is something also from the trainings, but also the conversations that you have with everyone, because everyone has different experiences, they have different knowledge.

And I think it's the combination of one, the relationships that you build with people here when they, you know, see where you're trying to get, people want to, you know, you're here, you're trying to help, you're trying to understand where people are within their businesses.

And all of us are trying to also understand where everyone is.

So we can help, we can add, value.

So there's something really special about being in person.

And I just think your knowledge goes from here to here within the space of a couple of days.

So it honestly, hands down, has been absolutely fantastic.

Anyone that's ever thought about investing in mentorship going to a Mastermind, I cannot tell you enough to do it because it will absolutely change your business.

You said learning from each other, and I'm trying to tailor this with PC Founder, but what would be your, I don't know, like main key takeaway or you think this is where AI impacts my business.

Right.

My day to day, where do you feel like that impact will be to?

Florida?

It's like sourcing lead gen ops, maybe all of them.

Like, how would you say in that period?

Yeah.

Okay.

So I think one of the things that I've started to realize is there's so many things that you can do with AI, right?

There is so many different routes, avenues, tech that you can implement.

But what I've started to recognize and one of the bottlenecks that I have at the moment is like, new business development, especially with me developing a new area of expertise.

Right.

I've already worked in this space, but I'm going into sort of not a new market, but I'm developing new relationships, let's say.

And what that's my main bottleneck.

So I was looking at, okay, well, I've got all these different groups and options of what I could take.

But coming here and being in the event and listening to what is working for everybody else, I'm like, okay, well for me it seems like being candidate led within my market is the way to go.

So if I can build a system around candidates and taking those candidates to market, that is what's going to bring me the quickest results.

And so I was like, okay, this is the route that I need to take.

This is the thing over the next three to six months that I really need to hone in on.

I need to focus on to get you from A to B.

Okay.

Okay, thanks so much for that because this is actually a really good point in recruiting.

You're either in a market that is client led, right, where you go to the clients seek jobs or they bring a job to you, or there's about 40%, 30, 40% spaces.

But if you have the candidate, you can control how much lifting you honestly bring in.

Because at the end of the day then it's are you putting the right candidate for enough people for not.

So the solution to this would be kind of an MPC engine that you build using Claude code, or just Claude, where you would put in, let's say your two to three top candidates.

You could run this on a monthly basis where it finds open jobs and then matches this person and features them like in a nice non salesy way.

yeah, I'm excited to build that tomorrow.
