Exec MCP for Executives: Org-Wide Insights 📊

Hello.

In this video I'm going to be walking you through how you can use the exec MCP to look at your entire organization.

So if you're someone who's leading the entire enablement function or someone in like an executive level role, this video is going to be for you.

Now, an MCP is a way to connect your exec workspace with the other tools in your tech stack, usually through an LLM or an AI assistant of some sort so that they can all talk to each other.

Once that's in place, you can ask questions in plain language and get an answer built around the exec data without having to dig for it in the workspace.

Now, at the org level, the questions get bigger.

So where is activity dropping off?

Which groups have stopped practicing, which skills are weak across every team and maybe where should we invest our time in training going into the next quarter?

Those are hard questions to answer in a dashboard because you end up pulling one report at a time and stitching it together yourself.

I'm also going to try having it build a few visuals along the way so you can get something you can drop straight into, maybe a board deck or a slide deck that you can share with your leadership team.

Let's dig right into it.

So here I'm connected to Claude with my MCP setup in my MCP project and I'm going to paste in this prompt, give me a picture of practice activity across the entire workspace over the last 30 days, broken out by group.

Awesome.

And just like that, Claude has built out an entire summary of our workspace and the activity, going on in there.

So I can look through all of this.

So we see that there have been a lot of sessions in the past 30 days in my demo workspace.

it's grown over 95% over the past few weeks.

So we can see this growth here we scroll down, we can see where practices is happening based off of each one of my groups.

So we have different users.

We can go and click on Total Volume Momentum and also break it down by the name.

This is pretty cool for it to just build it right off the bat with one prompt I can go see areas where people are strongest, where people have fallen off.

So using all these insights I can you know, ask further questions to figure out where I want to go from there.

Maybe I want to tap in deeper into specific departments to see maybe why program leads are not doing a whole lot of role plays.

Maybe because they're program leads.

But for example the SDR junior inbound team doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot compared to these other account executive roles.

So maybe that's something we want to tap into and see maybe where the gaps are.

Another prompt I could throw in is something like this.

let's pull the proficiency across the whole workspace.

So a skill proficiency.

So ignore any skill with fewer than 50 scored participants.

Then building me a heat map of skill versus group so I can see where each team is strong and weak.

Let's go ahead and throw that in and see what we can come up with.

And here we've got skill strength broken down by group.

So we can go and look at the, the outline it's given us.

So it looks like the strongest group overall is going to be the account manager mid market group.

I can look at this grid with all the different skills from our workspace, but broken out with the different teams we can look at the absolute score, workspace average spread across groups, all stuff that essentially Claude has built out for me just using the data and the information from Exec.

So this is all great.

I can look at the different teams broken out and if I wanted to make some sort of next step from this, maybe I build out a new program or maybe I have a meeting with my enablement team to figure out what next steps look like using this information.

Let's move on to the next prompt though.

We're going to just go and look into actual live calls.

So this is a demo workspace but I'm going to go and look into the live calls and see what score distribution looks like and which call categories are weakest.

Let's go ahead and run this prompt and see what it comes up for us.

So here we Have a breakdown of live scored calls within exec so we can have a look here.

So There are about 600 calls in this demo workspace, but only 200 of them or so have been scored.

So if we go and review these different calls, we have a distribution of the calls and the share of them.

If we scroll down we can find them broken down by each category.

So we have sales, customer success, prospecting and customer support which have been thrown in.

And we can see that sales is the weakest by a clear margin.

So it's the only category averaging a bronze rank.

And if I wanted to go even deeper I can ask and say, well why is that?

Where are the trends that we see in sales that is causing it to be the lowest ranked one?

Maybe customer support.

We can also look and kind of identify what individuals are doing in those calls, maybe the trends and what types of calls are happening within customer success and support.

Essentially we can go and pull any of the information that you would have in call scoring, right here into Claude to use that for sort of insights and next steps on where we might go with that.

Moving on to another prompt we might throw in is give me a rundown of assignment completion and exec based on each group.

So what groups have been the best about completing assigned role plays and who's missing the mark.

So we have got a list of the assignments so let's go ahead and see.

So there are quite a bit of assignments.

We have almost 12,000 assignments going in here.

We can see the percentage of people who've completed did not pass, not started past due.

Looks like overall there are people who have not passed.

But in terms of past due or not started, the percentage is pretty low.

So that's good to see.

We can see it broken down by group now so we can look at all this information again we can go into, tap into it if we want to look into deeper about management SDR or account manager mid market.

And it looks like the best group is the account executive strat.

So they're clean 100% on a 30 assignments.

So they are definitely killing it there, missing the mark.

Looks like management SDR is the worst by both volume and rate.

And then there's a bigger gap where 10 groups have zero assignments.

So that is 440 of the 742 seats who have not been assigned anything.

So maybe that means we need to go and figure out why we're not building out content or training programs for them.

So maybe that's a next step that we take from this analysis.

Now from here we pull in a lot of information, but let's just say we want to take the details we've talked through today and let's build a visual one pager summary of overall performance so I can give that to my enablement team.

And Claude has built out this full enablement performance review for me.

So this is great.

I think it's a lot of information though, so I just quickly prompted let's make this into a one pager, not just an artifact so you can simplify the key points.

So before it goes away, I just wanted to show a little bit of what this looks like.

honestly this is great and this would be very useful, but if I just want something more concise, let's try to get something a little bit more easy to read.
