Magic Post Knowledge Base set up

In this video, I'm going to be showing you how you can set up your Magic Post profile context and your knowledge base in your Magic Post account.

The first thing to mention is that when you connect your LinkedIn to your magic Post account, Magic Post will take into account your style of writing, your tone of voice, the format in which you generally do posts, who you interact with on LinkedIn, and who's interacting with you.

So when you start generating posts, you're going to be able to have a little bit of context already.

But.

But you're going to want to set up your knowledge base.

So to do so you're going to go down to the left hand corner, click into Settings, and it's going to bring you right to the profile context section.

This is where you're going to want to fill out the summary, the audience and the offer.

This is one of the first things that I tell everyone to be able to set up just to give Magic Post a little bit more context into getting to know you.

When you click on the crayon, you can either write this in manually or you can Click detect from LinkedIn data.

Of course, once you've done this, you have the ability to go in, edit, change and tweak just to make sure that everything looks correct.

We also have this My Story button at the bottom here.

This is going to allow you to input little anecdotes, stories from your past that, will allow Magic Post to utilize those in the post that it helps you to create.

Once again, you can Click Detect from LinkedIn data, in which case it will take stories from your past posts and be able to reincorporate those into new posts.

The next thing I want to be showing you is setting up your writing style.

So this is where you're going to have the AI settings.

So making sure that the tone is correct.

you can set your emoji preferences, the expressions and the language.

You can of course also add in a signature.

This will be put at the bottom of any one of your posts just to save you a little bit of time.

Next, moving to the general section, we have the preferences.

This is just for your languages, email changes, anything like that.

you go to LinkedIn, it will show who you are logged in, as to make sure that it's correct, your current time zone and in your preferred posting time.

So if you're abroad or you're posting for a different publishing time than you're currently in, you have the ability to change this.

And then finally, notifications just to ensure that you're getting all the notifications that you need and want for your Magic Post account.

Once you have your knowledge base set up, you are ready to start posting through Magic Post.
