All right, here, Bakari, again, and thank you again for being a beta tester.
00:05
You may have received the email in which I gave some instructions about going into more detail about creating the note.
00:13
And I gave you a list of features of Kinetic Notes, and I like you to copy that list in your email.
00:22
And, and we're going to paste it in your, in a, in a note.
00:28
So basically, what's to do here?
00:30
Once you have that copy and you're ready to go, I want you to click the quick, capture here.
00:35
And I want you to write list of features and Kinetic notes right here.
00:44
And then you want, you want to select the, project, if you created one here.
00:51
We did that in the first video.
00:53
And you're going to click Capture.
00:54
Okay?
00:55
And then when you go down, when you, when you update that done, you can open it.
00:59
You can quickly open that note by clicking here, and it opens it there.
01:03
And again, remember, if the first line that you add to a note becomes the title.
01:08
So we can leave that there if you want.
01:10
Now if you have that list of features, copied, you can just paste them in here like this.
01:17
You see, they all copied there.
01:19
And basically I want you to do is go through and just select the entire list.
01:25
Okay.
01:25
And then I want you to click, bullet list, not bullet list.
01:30
Let's undo that.
01:32
Click checklist right here.
01:34
And that creates a checklist of these different items inside of, you know, inside of Kinetic Notes.
01:44
And so this is, you know, just for you to work through these and also just to show you how to give you more details about how notes work.
01:53
Right.
01:54
So we just created a note and the notes are basically features of, Kinetic Notebook.
02:00
These are some of the main features there.
02:02
All right.
02:03
And then I think in the first video we talked about the status of the note and say that, we want this note to be a reference note.
02:11
Okay.
02:12
And say that we want to keep it as premium, and we might want to keep it as synthesized.
02:19
That means that we might not add any more information to it.
02:22
Or if we do want to come back and add more information to it, we can do it as growing, or we can do it as synthesized, which means that you're finished pretty much adding to it, but you still might want to review it.
02:33
And then we're going to say that we want to review this, daily or weekly or whatever, how much time that you have, or say you want to review it every 3 days, 10 days, or what have you.
02:46
I will start with daily here, just to kind of work through it and Say we want to go a week out, with it here.
02:53
So we might want to go until next week and do that.
02:58
And then, let's just add it to the favorites here just so that we, we can keep it, in the favorites list and also keep it top of mind again, you can come back in and deselect that as well.
03:12
Okay.
03:13
So that's, that's what you really want to do.
03:15
And when you thinking about the details of a note is what is the purpose of this note, how often do I want to review it, and what project is it in?
03:25
And you can also, come back here and you know, say you want to highlight something that you really want to work with.
03:34
So you can do that and you can click on the highlight button.
03:38
You can do the same thing by.
03:40
You can, you can select something here, you can click the highlight here.
03:44
And this is, I might change this.
03:47
But right now it's different types of highlights.
03:50
And this is kind of for study purposes, but you can create your own kind of idea what the different colors represent.
03:57
You don't have to stick with what I give you here.
03:59
But say, you know, I want to review, say you want to review this particular feature here.
04:05
So you can click it as, you know, there and click, click it as red.
04:11
Now when you go to the, there's a reader mode in here.
04:16
Okay.
04:17
So because all this is written in what's called markdown, the markdown happens in the background.
04:23
But, you can go here and you can see like the different highlights right here.
04:29
Okay.
04:31
Or you say key terms, you see that.
04:33
And so if you have different highlights in here, you can review those there, right?
04:39
And you can go back to edit mode here.
04:43
And again, if you want to do your, if you, if you understand about how to use markdown, say you want to add another note here when you click Return.
04:52
If you already have a checklist, it will create a checklist item.
04:57
But you also can click a butter item and add some notes there as well.
05:03
Okay, so that's how.
05:05
That's pretty much the overview of it.
05:09
and these buttons up here as well.
05:11
All for say, like you want to add just the top of mind if you wanted to favor it, if you want to delete the note altogether, you want to say you want to schedule it, for a particular day.
05:25
You know, you can do that here.
05:28
And if you say you want to mark it reviewed, you can do that right there.
05:35
And then if you want to have a direct link to the note, you can do that and click that and create a link directly to this particular note.
05:44
Okay.
05:44
And then you can also kind of hide the details panel when you want to, to get it out the way.
05:50
Say you really want to work in a note and you just don't want to have a lot of distraction.
05:54
You can go back and so you see it's set up there.
05:59
And then you'll see that because we added that note to top of mind, it appears right here.
06:05
And then we can also go to all notes and you see all the notes that you have and the different statuses they are.
06:11
You can filter by different statuses here.
06:14
And go back to, let's say also if you go to Favorites, you'll see that that note is added to favorites as well.
06:23
This right here frequently referenced.
06:25
This will change based upon how often you open a note.
06:29
Okay.
06:29
So that gives you some more detail about, the details of notes.
06:34
If you have any questions, definitely while you watch this video, you can ask, you can leave comments, at the bottom here and ask your questions in there, there as well as you watch this video or after you finish watching it.
06:50
Thanks again for, checking it out and I appreciate you being a beta tester.
