Introduction to Cruva Workflows 🚀

Hello.

I'm excited to walk you through the new workflows feature within Cruva.

A workflow is a multi step journey.

You build that every creator walks through.

Think of it like a decision tree for your outreach.

A creator enters and Cruva evaluates them at every step and they get routed down the branch that matches exactly where they are.

We are previously accustomed to CRM automations which evaluate creators and then message them and send additional follow ups.

This is a completely new and improved way to keep your affiliates engaged that has the power of many CRM automations within a singular workflow.

Let's get started.

So we'll start with a trigger or a recurring trigger.

I'll explain later what a recurring trigger is.

A trigger.

Think of it like a mini CRM group.

You define the conditions the that allow creators to enter the workflow in the first place.

We'll start off with the sample request status being ready to ship.

Once an affiliate has a ready to ship sample, they will enter this workflow.

We'll begin by sending them a message.

Notifying them that the sample has been shipped.

Then we can add a controller.

We'll start with wait until.

We'll wait until the sample request is content pending, meaning it has been delivered and then we'll send another message.

We'll notify them that the product has arrived and we'll send them a creator brief link along with that message.

As you can already see, this is the power of two CRM groups in one where first you send a message when it ships and now we send another message when it arrives.

This is all within a singular workflow, But it can get much more elaborate from there.

Watch this.

We'll do a wait.

So we'll wait for five days.

so after the affiliate is messaged, they enter a queue and there's simply a delay for five days.

Then we'll evaluate where they are with a condition.

We'll see is the sample request posted.

So again they were messaged when it arrived.

We waited five days.

Now we're going to check has it been posted.

If it has not been posted, we'll send them a DM saying hey affiliate name.

Just reminding you that it's been five days since your sample was delivered.

Please make sure to post.

Then we can wait again, wait another three days and then evaluate once more.

And if they have not posted, we'll let them know.

Hello, Please make sure to post for your sample, we can do it again as many times as you'd like.

We'll do one more though for the sake of this example, wait another three days and then we'll evaluate them one more time.

Have they posted for the sample?

So let's zoom out and just review what we've done so far.

A creator enters when their sample is shipped, we send them a message.

We wait until it arrives, then we send another message and then we keep periodically waiting and seeing if they post.

If they don't, we send them messages along the way.

After this last attempt, we'll just exit.

Meaning at this point the affiliates have dropped out of the workflow.

We've messaged them multiple times, they're not responsive, they haven't posted.

in all these other conditions we have creator has posted.

True.

Let's continue.

For our creators who have posted, let's send them a DM thanking them.

Hey, affiliate name, thanks for posting the product.

And then we can let's do a wait until.

And let's wait until the shop GMV is at least a dollar within the last 30 days.

So they've made their first sale.

Let's now send them a message congratulating them.

hey, affiliate name, congratulations on your first sale.

We'd like to invite you to our community campaign.

now created a multi step workflow that starts from when the creator's sample is shipped all the way to when they make their first post and to when they get their first sale, inviting them to an incentive campaign.

This has the power of 5 to 10 CRM groups all in a single workflow.

Now all you need to do is save and run the workflow.

Let's give it a name.

and then we'll save and that's it.

Now let's go over the recurring trigger.

A recurring trigger is the same thing as a trigger where you evaluate the creator based on conditions.

However, it has a recurring cadence.

So you can choose either daily, weekly or monthly.

Here's a common use case.

Let's go monthly on the first of each month and we'll evaluate if the shop GMV is over a hundred dollars in the last 30 days.

When that happens, let's send them a DM and an email.

essentially what this does is on the 1st of every month we're going to evaluate which creators have earned $100 over the last 30 days and then we'll send them an announcement.

Congratulations, you're one of our top affiliates.

View this incentive or this link this streamlines sending automated announcements and reminders because previously you would have had to duplicate a CRM automation once every month to to achieve the same effect as this.

Whereas this just evaluates the same conditions at the beginning of each month and the creators will re enter the workflow even if they've already been in the workflow.

Whereas previously with CRM Automations a creator can only be messaged one time by that automation.

Just some final things we have all these actions like sending dms, target collabs emails, adding creators to list.

If you stack multiple items like this, they send at the same time.

So firstly this will evaluate them, send a dm, send an email.

We can also send it to our club invite if we want or we can do a TC plus DM within the target collab invites.

All the same exact configurations you're used to are available here.

within each action you'll have activity which is similar to the activity logs in our automations.

You'll be able to see which creators were messaged, how many creators have entered and exited each action Another amazing feature within the workflows is the ability to export and import workflows.

So you can essentially click this button here and then export as template.

This will save a file to your computer that you can then import.

something.

If you're an agency and you want to import your workflows across all of your brands or if if you want use these workflows as a lead magnet or sell your workflows, you can essentially share them with everybody and people can upload your workflows if that's something you're willing to share.

This is a feature we've really wanted since day one at Cruva.
