Groover Curator Guide 🎵

Hey, welcome to Groover.

I'm Pietro from the curator team and let me quickly show you how the platform works through this video.

When you log into your profile, you land on your dashboard.

Here, everything lives in two to do and done.

to do the key filter is to listen.

Here you'll find all the music submissions that are waiting for your answer.

They are all ranked by the expiry date, because on Groover, you have seven days to provide a piece of feedback to the artist.

If the artist doesn't get an answer within seven days, the track disappear from your dashboard.

We refound the artist and we also deactivate your account.

If you want to reactivate the account, you just need to log back in.

When you click on a music submission, you'll find all the information about the artist and the music.

Here you have the track player to listen to the song.

Sometimes could happen that the track doesn't work because the file is corrupted.

So in that case, please don't write a feedback to the artist saying you are not able to listen to the song, but try to use these three little dots here.

Report this track and then you select the reason why you're reporting the track.

If you scroll down here, there is the decision section.

when you listen to a music submission, you have two decisions to make.

Either offer an opportunity to an artist you like or write feedback to an artist you are not ready to offer an opportunity, whether or not you like the track.

When you decide to share a track, there is the main opportunity which depends on your influencer category.

So if you are a playlist curator, your main opportunity is to add a track to a Spotify playlist.

If you are radio, it's to broadcast a track on air.

If you are a media, it's to write an article.

You can see the little main tag here.

Secondary opportunities are smaller forms of support like a shoutout.

So for instance, if a radio decides to not broadcast a track on radio could instead add the track to a Spotify playlist.

it's a way to support the artist even if the main opportunity is not the right fit.

When you decide to share a track, it's important that in the feedback you explain the reasons why you accepted the track and also the information about the offering.

So for instance, if you decide to add a track to a Spotify playlist, it's important that you explain for how long and at which position.

If you decide to not share a track, you have to select this option.

And if you want to share your email address with the artist, you have to tick this checkbox.

In this case, it's very important in the feedback that you explain why you are not accepting the track to the artist so he can understand the reason behind the decision.

in order to provide a good feedback, we also sent you a feedback guide with all the guidelines and you can check that if you want to provide a good feedback.

Keep in mind that we monitor on daily basis all the feedback on the platform.

So when we think that you are providing bad feedback, we will reach out to you you also need to be aware that if you you are not respecting our guidelines, we can deactivate your account.

When you decide to share a track.

So to provide an opportunity to an artist, the track, the music submission goes directly to this section.

To complete here, what you have to do is to click on the music submission and once you share the track, you have to add the sharing link here in this box so both the artist and the Groover team can be notified about the sharing.

The other tab done here is a sort of archive with all the music submissions that you handled during your time on Groover.

You can check all your feedbacks and also your shares.

If you want to receive more music on Groover, you can go on this section here.

You'll find the referral link that you can add to your social accounts in the bio and also the Groover widget that you can add to your website if you have one in the contact page.

we always suggest to add both of them if you want to centralize all the music submissions to your Groover account and also increase the number of submissions.

Then there is the wallet here in this section.

You'll find all your earnings.

And here you have two options.

Option number one is to withdraw the credit directly to your bank account or your PayPal account.

In that case, you have to select this option.

but if you're an artist or you work closely with artists, you can also transfer this credit from your curator account to your artist account.

And if you do so, you will receive an extra 20%.

Grooviz.

And this is the option.

then last feature if you are not able to provide feedback on the platform, you can put your account in standby manually.

To do so, you just need to click appear on your name settings availability and and then you remove this flag from this checkbox and you click save.

If you want to reactivate your account, you just need to log back in.
