How to Use Post Approvals in Magic Post 📝

In this video, I'm going to be explaining how post approval works on Magic Post for your team plan.

So, as we can see here, going back to our dashboard, we can see who has the approval modes on.

This is just an example.

So if I am the marketing team and I'm generating content for some of these people, I just want to send them a validation link so they can make sure that everything looks good before the post goes live on their behalf.

So to give you an example, if I was on the marketing team and I'm generating content for Tom here, can easily click into his account, Going into Tom's calendar, I get a nice overview here of all the posts that I've generated in the past for him.

If you click into one of these, you get a nice snapshot of how it performed with some metrics.

And you can see here all of the posts that I need approval for.

So we can see also that at the top here we have approval mode set as on.

And there's this Share calendar button.

This is what I'm going to use.

you'll see that we have two links to share.

There is the approval share link and there is the editing link.

the approval link just allows them to look through and approve, whereas the editing link allows the other person to go in, make changes themselves, add in their own media, change the date, et cetera.

And here we have this notification section.

So, for example, me, if I'm Sarah, I'm the owner of this agency, I will get notified whenever Tom has approved anything or given me a comment.

So if I want to show you what the editing link looks like, you're just going to copy this, So when Tom clicks into this link, this is the exact view that he's going to get.

It's going to have his name, it's going to have the company in the corner here and the 10 posts to be approved.

He can also go in and check how his past posts have been doing, Just so we can glance really quickly at how his performances have been doing.

When you're ready to start approving posts, all you're going to do is click into one of those and they can start reading.

The other really cool thing is that you can now highlight and add in comments to change direct lines, words, phrasing, etc.

Of course, in the discussion section, this is where they can give more broad feedback about how the post is looking and Like I mentioned, this was the editing link, which allows them to have full access and editing capabilities where they can change the posts themselves, they can add in and change the media, and they can also change the dates.

If everything looks good, all they have to do is toggle on this approved post and you'll see that it turns green in your calendar.

This means it's ready to go live, all is good.

And if, for example, this post was never validated and it stays gray as the posting date approaches, no worries, the post will not go live.

You have a little bit of a safety net within Magic Post for this.

However, the recipient of this calendar, they will get a notification one hour before their post is meant to go live, just reminding them that they do have a post to approve.

The other really neat thing your team members can do.

So if this is the calendar of Tom, if Tom has an idea that they want you to post about, you can add in what that might be.

This is an idea that the marketing team will then see and they can generate content for.

With magicpost's team plan approval process, it's very, very simple for everyone in your team to ensure that everything that's going out looks good, clean and brand.

So going back to the Creator view, if we click into that same exact post that Tom had left some comments on, you can go to this approval section and you'll see these two comments here.

When you click onto this, you can either reply to them or you can mark it as resolved.

You can also see the idea that your team member has proposed for you, so you can start going and generating content for that idea.
