[FULL DEMO - SHORT] Writing PCAs with ARC

First things first, just to give you a bit of an orientation to our platform.

When you log in, this is where you'll kind of land.

As a reminder, we specialize in helping you with the report writing process.

So anything kind of before, the report writing process, like site visit, all of that kind of pre work that you do before the site is still in your hands.

We're just here to make the kind of long form PCA writing process a little bit faster.

so what you can do on, our web app, this is where you'll actually upload all of your site data.

So the only time you'll come here is once you've come back from site and you're looking to start your report.

you'll land here, you'll see all of the reports that you've previously written, written.

You can go over to clients and see all of the clients that your coworkers or colleagues have maybe added.

If it's a new client, you can also add that client information.

and then you'll start generating your report.

One thing I want to call out is what we've already done in the backend when we started working with you was interview a ton of the members of the PCA team, really learn your process and understand what makes Vertex Vertex kind of unique.

So anything that has to do with your term, with your firm's tone, style, language, how you write reports, your templates, those are all already loaded, into the system as well as a ton of industry knowledge.

So when I go to create a report, I'll just click that button, I'll open up the pca, and then I will just fill in kind of some of this basic information.

if I keep using the same, same Pleasant Prairies, example that I've been using, as you'll see, ton of information will pre fill.

We're just pulling address information from Google.

You can add your project number, you can add letters, numbers, whatever issue date will be the date that you're trying to get it to the client.

This will also show up on the report.

You can change it manually if need be.

and then if you have a building name or a property name, you can also add that and then select your client.

This is where you're going to upload your data.

My favorite way to do it is to just drag and drop, all of the folders that I require.

You can also search your computer as you would normally upload a document from any other type of platform.

A couple things to call out here.

You'll see the number of files that you have added.

If there's any duplicates, we intentionally skip duplicate files.

Also if there's any file that's over 50 megabytes, we will call that out.

It wouldn't get uploaded.

So we just want you to know, that it hasn't been uploaded.

This doesn't happen very often.

Once you click Upload, you'll start seeing, seeing all of the files get uploaded.

This can kind of take anywhere between one to five minutes.

The whole report generation and upload process.

so just be aware of that.

If, if just be aware of that.

So once the files have all been uploaded, you'll be taken to this page.

You'll see a couple things going on here.

You have a report generation percentage, that is how much of the report has already been generated.

And you'll also see in the top right corner, how many inputs have been generated as well as the sect.

What is really happening here is we're analyzing everything that you just gave us based on industry context like building codes, ASTM format, all of that and the vertex context as well to make sure that any information that we're producing is in your firm tone and language.

so every single input that you've provided with us is now getting analyzed by AI.

Once it's 100% generated, you'll see that you can download your report into Microsoft Word.

And additionally, if you get any documents from your client after you've already started the report, you can, you can always upload data, right here.

So I'm going to download the Microsoft Word document and we will jump into the different things that you can do in the report using the assistant.

So having our Word document open, you'll see that everything is the same to the vertex mid level template.

and what we will do first is open the assistant.

If you've never logged in before, it will ask you to log in.

Otherwise it will just log in for you.

It's your email and password password that you use for the web app.

So you'll notice that the assistant is already starting to think on your cover page.

It's just going to give you a building summary, to what the building is a couple things to call out.

Anything that we inputted on the report generation will Autofill.

and we'll go through how you kind of fill in other documents.

The first thing that I'll call out for the COVID page is that you can insert a photo.

so if you go over to your assistant, you'll see two tabs, writing and inputs.

if we go up to view recommended photos or just click inputs, we'll get pulled over to the different photos of the building that it's recommending us to use for the COVID photo.

The first one is that you can insert a photo.

You can also insert a photo and a caption that will come in the photo log section.

a couple other things just orient you around the assistant.

a couple things.

So first you'll see that right now it's showing that we're on the COVID page.

And you'll see Follow cursor is blue.

You can actually just jump around to different sections in the assistant.

so you'll stay on the COVID photo page, but you can see what information is being produced for the wall assembly.

if you ever want to go back, you can just click Follow Cursor and it will follow your cursor again.

Anytime that we don't have suggestions for you, you'll see something that says no writing suggestions available yet.

This doesn't happen very much in your template as we've worked through a lot of it.

The last thing I'll talk about kind of before I jump into writing is the search and replace.

So we don't actually complete the search and replace for you, but what we do do is we will pull in the information that you require for search and replace.

You can just copy it over and then fill in the search and replace yourself.

Couple call outs here that work across the assistant.

will always give you a confidence score in how confident, we are in the information that we're presenting to you.

High means pretty much extremely confident.

Medium is something that you'll probably want to review in the evidence, which I'll get to in a second.

And low is something that you should review in the evidence.

anytime that we can't find something specifically, we will tell you that you will need to fill that in.

However, we'll also provide you with the evidence attached to the suggestion.

So if I want to open up this document, I can kind of see it.

It will give me a summary of the document, as well as I can search.

So if I just want to verify the year that it was built, I can search that and it will pull me into the section of the year that it's, it was built and can verify that 2017 is the right year.

Moving through to some of the other sections, like I said, this is a bit of a speedier demo.

We have a longer form video if you want to go kind of section by section.

each of the upfront sections like section 2, 3 and 4, we will have different types of suggestions that come up for you.

If you're on a page where all you would have needed to do here is find and replace, we'll just remind you that there is a find and replace section here.

And just to, make sure that you've already done that, if I hop down to some of the information over here, you'll see that again, maybe there's no writing suggestions.

Our cursor is following us, but as we scroll through, the assistant will update depending on the kind of information that it knows needs to be in there.

If you have any tables, we will try and fill those in for you in the suggestions and you can just copy them and paste them in into your format.

Again, it will tell you to verify anything, that we need you to do on your end in the template and it will always provide you evidence as well.

Let's jump in to the section five just to go through how that might look as I know you guys spend, a lot of time here.

So if I go over to site improvements again, our cursor is following us and maybe I jump down to concrete.

so all of the information in your templates are still already in here.

We want you to still have access to that.

but you'll see that we'll start to produce suggestions based on the inputs that we have.

So for the description we can just pull that in and copy it.

and we can either insert if we're happy with the text.

one thing you can also do is refine suggestions so you can make them shorter, more formal, add detail.

You can also add some specific, descriptions.

so maybe if I want, more technical and it will regenerate, the suggestion for you based on that.

It will also tell you how many times that we have done this.

So you'll be able to see how many times you've changed the suggestion.

This could also change the evidence and you'll see that our confidence score actually changed.

So it was medium before.

Now we're extremely confident that the evidence that we've provided supports what we are saying.

You can always open up your evidence to look at it a Little bit more and in the kind of pop out modal will pull out details for you as well.

The other thing that I will show you is we don't have we won't automatically insert something like this into the table, but we will add some, some X's to let you know whether our, our assistant has seen anything that kind of might go into some of these little tables that you have within each section.

The last thing I'll call out is anything that is italicized similar to your template will be in will be a condition and anything that is not italicized is a description.

If you move through every single section of the section 5, every single subsection of section 5, it will all kind of work the same way.

one thing I'll also call out in maybe if we go over to a mechanical section that has more drawings or reports that go with it.

If you go over to inputs, and just click the list, you'll be able to see all of the different inputs that are documents, maintenance, maintenance tags, things like that that have gone into kind of producing these suggestions.

and then you can also go over into site photos that will help you kind of determine and you can look at the actual systems that you want, a little bit closer.

You can also zoom in these photos.

So if you need to zoom in on anything you can see that as well.

And like I said, we'll always provide you with a summary of the photo as well.

Awesome.

Let's jump into the photo log quickly and just go through what that looks like.

So again just a reminder, my cursor has been following me the whole time.

You can change that and just click into different sections in the assistant if you need.

One thing about the photo log is we will not be providing any suggestions.

Don't worry.

We do help with captions.

It just looks a little bit different.

So if I hop over to the input side one, this is kind of the default but you can always just click the little image and it will show you your images in kind of a nicer thumbnail.

there are no documents for the photo log.

So this button won't surface anything right now.

So in the photo log we've set it up so that each page is a different section and it follows the same order as section five you would write.

So you can always look at the documents as well and go through them, see the different things that you want to see.

Two buttons here that I want to call out.

We have an Insert photo button and an Insert photo and caption button.

If you click this when you're on a photo placeholder, it will insert your photo as well as a caption for you.

so maybe I want to show the outside of the building and maybe I want to show kind of like the entrance road as well.

Can just insert that caption and photo as a reminder.

the photo log one page per system.

If you only want to overview photos and then you want to jump to site improvement photos, you can just do that in the assistant and it will update for you.
