I'm going to show you how to add a wash to your sketch.

So we have our sketch ready here, and the first thing we're going to do is we are going to render this in one of our own fabrics.

So I'm going to pick, this slub that I just uploaded in here for fabrics.

All right, so this is our render of our design.

So now we want to apply this wash to this render.

So what we're going to do is edit, update to new wash.

We're going to add the media here, hit the plus sign, and we're going to click on this wash image, and it popped up over here, and we're going to let it run.

We are going to take one of our denim renders and add some, dry process to it.

First I had a sketch and then I rendered it with the standard fabric and wash.

I think we want to pump up this wash a little bit.

So we're going to go into our render, we're going to hit the denim cleanup and we're going over to this menu.

So I'm going to make my brush a little bit smaller and I'm going to add some pee pee spray to the thighs.

So I'm going to intensify the pee pee spray on the thighs right here.

I also want to add, some grinding to the pocket edges.

So I'm gonna hit the grinding and I'm gonna brush over where I want the grinding top of the pockets.

I'm also going to put some grinding on the hems of the jean.

I think I want to try also a little distressing on the knee.

So I'm gonna draw a little hole right here.

That's a little shape, a regular shape.

And I'll put a smaller distress over here.

We are going to add some wash details to this rendered denim jean.

So I started with a sketch, I rendered it in my standard denim, with a basic hand sand whisker wash.

And we want to add some details to this wash.

So we're going to click on our render, going to go to the denim tool here, and we're going to start over.

So today we're going to work with the denim brush tool to add some denim wash details, some dry processes to this already rendered jean.

Started with a sketch, we rendered it into denim with a basic wash.

And I always like to start with a subtle intensity.

You can always pump it up later.

I want to get really tight in there in the details.

When I'm making my brush really small, I want to add some grinding to the pocket edges.

Try to make it look a little bit hand done.

so starting and stopping, a little grinding along the hem.

Just adding small little points here along the hem so it looks natural.

I'm going to add a little grinding to the top of the waistband places where you might see natural wear.

I'm going to add a distress hole to the knee.

So this is threadbare holes so it looks like natural worn.

I'm going to do in little slices so that doesn't look too big and contrived.

And then I'm also going to add, heavy, you know, a little bit heavier on the sanding.

I'm going to make my brush size a little bit bigger and, just add a little bit more heavy hand sanding into the thigh areas.

So I'm going to crease sanding here kind of on the outer thigh and maybe a little heavier across the front of the jean.

A little bit more intense on that big whisker there.

So I'm going to, apply while it renders the wash enhancements it.

So it added a little distressing along the pockets, and added holes to the knees and to the hem.

So I'm going to show you how to add dry process to your already rendered denim.

Jean started with a sketch rendered in fabric with a basic wash.

But we want to add some destruction and other details to the dry process.

We're going to click on our render.

We're going up to the denim brush area.

I like to start with a subtle.

You can always make it more intense later.

And I'm going to start with a smallish brush size and I'm going to be adding distress.

So these are thread bear holes.

I'm going to add a little knee slash and then a little.

Some small holes going up.

I want the holes to look natural and asymmetric, so I'm placing holes asymmetrically.

I'm going to add a little hand sanding to intensify that.

The hand sanding that's already here.

So I'm going to intensify right here on the outer, outer hip.

And I'm going to add a little bit of subtle, subtle grinding to the hem.

I want it to be really small, so made my brush size small.

Just like you would a razor, just nick it in different spots along the hem.

I'm gonna add a little bit of grinding to the top of the pockets as well to give it a natural worn look.

And we're going to apply it.

Started with a sketch, rendered it with my personal fabrics, applied a wash, and now I want to update the wash to the super bleach with the blue details on the top.

I'm going to go to my render, I'm going to the denim brush, and what we're going to use is a reference.

So we're going to choose a reference image, Click on the one that you want it, breaks it down, and evaluates it.
