Why They’re Not Buying

If you're watching this, you probably have a really great business, but you really just don't know why you're not closing consistently.

Is using some of the techniques and strategies.

And I'm gonna share with you now for free, introduce you to something that I call the five leaks.

You usually leak in sales in one of five areas.

Either it's your offer, it's your authority, people don't trust you, it's your conversation framework, advanced objection handling, or your process, like your actual process for follow up, for onboarding the whole nine.

One of the biggest mistakes is that people assume that everything is broken.

But best thing to do is figure out what specifically is broken so you can fix that.

Let's talk about each one of them, starting with the offer.

the problem is not what most people think.

Yes, your offer can be confusing.

You keep changing it.

People don't really know what's going on.

They don't know the transformation, they don't know what's going to change for their life from your offer.

But that's not the biggest mistake that I'm seeing.

The biggest mistake that I'm seeing is people are saying, well, I'm just going to disappear for six months and build this beautiful offer and then I'm going to sell.

That is not how you do this.

Make a decision, make the best offer with the information that you have available and then go out and test it, do some real sales conversations, get real feedback.

Because what's going to happen is people are going to tell you what they really think and that's how you're going to make the perfect offer for your audience.

That feedback on what they're confused about, what they understand, what they don't understand.

All of that is what perfects your offer.

So you definitely don't want to disappear.

You want to get it out and get it to the masses so you can get real feedback that Refines your offer to what it needs to be.

So the next one is authority.

People think, authority is just based in my position, my credentials.

All those do play a role in your authority.

But here's the part that most people miss.

Your authority in the business world is not just centered around your credentials.

That's one part of it.

But the bigger part is do people know that you understand them and that you can provide the transformation that they are looking for?

That is the authority that I'm talking about.

You don't need a massive audience, you don't need to be TikTok famous to be successful.

But what you do need to be able to do is communicate to a group of people that you understand and can provide the transformation that they need.

Because guys, they are overwhelmed.

The Internet is full of people telling them all of these great things and accomplishments that they have and they can help them get.

But people they're going to buy from are the people that can clearly communicate that they understand the problem and that they can truly provide a, a transformation and help in that area.

So establishing your authority is not just about your credentials.

That's one of the biggest mistakes that people make.

You need to be able to communicate clearly that you can help them and that you've been able to do it before, either from yourself or with your clients and other people.

So the third one is the conversation leak.

You're you make one sale, you make, you miss the next five, and you just don't know why.

Like you're doing your best, you're kind of winging it.

You might have heard some good tips on TikTok and Instagram and you incorporate in all those and it just doesn't land.

The reason why it doesn't land is because you need a process that you can stick to that you understand the science by behind each and every skill that you apply.

Because it's hard to improve if you don't understand how the mechanisms that are happening in the background.

It's also really hard to gauge what's working and what's not.

So you definitely need to have a conversation framework that gets you through to the yes more consistently.

So the next one is objection leak.

Now with this one, this is when you're getting I need to think about it, I need to talk to my spouse, send me an email, all of those.

And most people, when they get this, they want to go get a new script or they want some comeback and how do I structure this?

And all of those are decent strategies.

But here's where you really need to look, you need to go back.

Because most objections can be prevented.

And I'm telling you, you'll love your sales way more when you don't have to handle objections.

So look back and see how you structured the call leading up to that moment.

Cause that's usually where it broke down, not at the moment when they gave the.

A weak discovery phase is the biggest cause of objections.

If you did not take the time to really understand their pain, understand their hesitation, understand their goals, understand what they've tried and all of those things to paint a picture of why they need to take the natural next step, then that's when objections come up.

So don't focus on trying to come up with this masterful or verbiage because that's cool and you'll learn that.

But that's not your biggest opportunity.

Your biggest opportunity is when you can really have a amazing discovery process so that you discover what you need to so the objections don't come up later.

The last one is a process leak.

And this really shows up, when you don't really have a process for follow up.

You don't have a system, for that.

You don't have a way of keeping up when you have a really good conversation.

And you may have heard the term the wealth is in the follow up that requires some type of system.

You have to have some way other than your memory to make sure that you're following up.

Because the biggest misconception is that people assume that because somebody doesn't respond that they're not interested.

And that is the furthest thing from the truth.

A lot of the time it's just that they're busy.

I can relate.

I've just been busy.

Sometimes when somebody was following up and because they didn't continue to follow up, I just blew it off.

I didn't take action.

Had a young guy, for example, come the other day and talk to me about my security system.

I was interested.

He said he was going to come back and he didn't.

He probably assumed I was blowing him off and I wasn't interested.

That wasn't the case.

So make sure that you not just follow up, but you have a system.

Because if you don't have a system, you don't have a sales process.

You just winging it.

Okay, here's why you can't just keep guessing.

Because every day, every week you're like, I need more leads, I need to do this, I need to do that.

And you end up unintentionally all over the place because yeah, you make those guesses.

But what if you're wrong?

Like you guess wrong.

What happens?

The time, money and energy you're putting in the chasing those things you can't get back, you can't get that money back, you can't get that time back.

You just lost it.

And from my own experience, you spend all of that time and you go deep on something and it was the wrong thing.

I've done this, I've, gone deep on, I gotta fix my offer.

I gotta fix this.

And later finding out that was not the case at all.

It was not the issue.

So here's what you need to understand.

Do not wait until your offer is perfect to your website is perfect to you have this massive audience.

The process of earning, the sale and selling will provide the feedback to fix all of those things.

Because through having sales conversations, you're going to learn, adjust and improve that process, but not just based on what you think, what your actual target market thinks, the people that you are going after.

That is what we need to refine our offers and our websites and all of those things.

Most of us are doing it backwards.

Don't do this alone.
