If you've gone and tested out the 'Share location' button on your pet's Pet Profile, and you don't see the exact location that you're at, it's probably because you don't have 'Precise Location' turned on.

I'm going to show you how to fix that, starting with the iPhone.

Here you can see my pet's Pet Profile, and I'm going to go ahead and 'share location'.

Now, there's a chance that you don't have 'Precise Location' turned on, So the iPhone is going to default to sort of a general location that you're in.

This parameter exists to protect the privacy, and allow you to control how precisely your iPhone monitors your location.

In this case, we do want to use the precise location.

So let's go to 'Settings' and scroll down to 'Privacy & Security'...

and 'Location Services' at the top there.

When a person scans a Crumb tag, it actually opens the default browser on their phone.

for most people, that's going to be Safari unless they've specifically designated a different browser to be their default browser.

So we're going to scroll down to Safari Websites, click that, and you can see a little toggle there that says 'Precise Location'.

now if I scan the tag again, and test out the location sharing, it should be precise.
