How to Download Facebook Group Posts with PostSnag

Here's how to scan and download any Facebook group post using Post Snag, making sure that you're logged into Post Snag.

Here you're just going to click on Add Post Snag to Chrome.

Step one is really just installing the Google Chrome extension and logging into that.

Now this is how simple this is.

So you can go to any Facebook group that you want.

This is a buddy of mine.

This is a very popular Facebook group with 2.5 million followers.

All I need to do is click on the Post nag group extension and I can just start scrolling down here and you can see that it's indexing all of these posts.

So if you're on a Windows computer particularly, I can just kind of hold that middle thing, that middle thing on my mouse, down and as they load it scans all of these posts.

Now you can also go to an individual person as well.

I'll show you that in just one second.

But when you're ready here, when you have all the posts that you want scanned, you can see that took less than 30 seconds to scan 60 posts.

I'm just going to export to Dashboard.

This will take one second and it'll load all of these posts automatically into your postsnag account.

And here we go.

We have all of the posts automatically loaded in there.

There's a couple important things that you can do here too.

So you can sort this.

It's going to auto default to the group feed order.

But you can see which posts get the most engagement.

So we can see here these are the most engaging posts automatically.

We can sort by post types.

So we can see specifically the photos, or the reels or the text posts in here specifically.

So you can make really educated decisions on how to go viral in that particular group.

But you can also view this post in particular or you can click on the export tab up here and you can download all of that media media information as a markdown file to train your AI tool of choice.

A CSV.

you can download the media into a zip file or media only data, and media.

And it'll index all of the groups that you have scanned in here like so.

and you can always go back in there.

Now if you wanted to scan an individual persons, you can go and while in the group click on any of their name.

So let's click on Nick here.

We can see he has a bunch of posts.

And so this will now scan and index all of Nick's posts in that particular group.

So it looks like he only has a couple, so we'll export that to Dashboard.

But if you say maybe there's a, group admin that has hundreds or thousands of posts and they're going very viral, you can do this for the group admin and see all of their top performing posts as well.
