Introducing the New MCP Dashboard

Hey there.

My name is Drew Barontini, VP of Product for Scite, and I want to show you the new MCP Dashboard.

So inside of your individual account, underneath the collections item, you're now going to see mcp.

This was here before, but it was just linking to our setup page that we use to send anyone who's trying to get MCP set up with all the instructions.

Now you're going to actually see your your own usage data, including clients that you have connected.

So we'll show the latest clients that you have, the latest one, as well as the additional ones.

So you can see I have Claude and ChatGPT.

It shows when I last used each of them.

You can click to add a connection which will quickly allow you to connect to Claude or ChatGPT.

Since we have direct connections in those stores.

You can copy the server URL.

So you can set this up or or even paste this prompt into your AI tool, which will help you provide instructions on how to set it up inside of that individual tool.

The MCP server URL always sits here, as well as the documentation for the extended examples and the extended information you'll need for multiple clients.

We have your subscription usage information, which was previously only in your subscription page, but now we surface it here as well.

This will show your number of MCP tool uses this month and if you have a cap on that, it'll show that total and when the usage resets.

And you can always manage your subscription.

We have all time usage here, so we're showing the total number of sessions across all time, how many tool calls you've run, the total number of papers that you've read, and all your responses.

The average number of tool calls per session to get a sense for you know, how deep are you going overall, and then a chart breaking down your weekly MCP usage over the past 14 days.

So each day we'll show you a stacked bar chart for the total number of tool calls as well as the total number of papers read.

And you can see different sessions that I've had in recent days as well.

So hopefully this will help you understand how you're using MCP and get a little more insight into what that looks like so that you can track your usage and continue to use the MCP to provide more of the literature that you need and rely on that comes directly from Scite.
