Hi and thank you for your interest in our product engineering role for internal apps.

In this video I want to give you a quick overview of what we're doing and who we're looking for in this role.

So our team is responsible for building the internal tooling that allows the people at Conveo to operate at their best.

Because in this age of AI where building software gets cheaper and cheaper and we're taking the bet that building fully custom software is going to serve us much better than buying off off the shelf tooling.

And that's especially true for the internal apps that we're using every day.

So the teams we're building for are the sales teams, the customer success team and recruiters.

but we'll probably expand to all the humans at Conveo at some point.

And an example of what we are shipping is for example, recently we built a cross platform outreach product for the sales reps that uses AI to deeply personalize messages based on the lead and our product portfolio.

We work mostly like a traditional engineering team but because we're internal we have very easy access to our users and so we use that to our advantage to be very close with them.

We're embedded in their so we can understand our workflows very deeply.

We can co create the software together with them and get feedback very quickly so we can iterate quickly.

building internal tooling gives us room for experimentation that you don't have when you're building tooling for external customers.

And so we're using that to really be on the bleeding edge of AI both by leveraging AI within the stuff that we're doing as well as to support our development process.

For this role we're looking for a product engineer.

So what we mean by that is a true generalist that combines deep engineering experience with having experience being very close to users, talking to users and co creating with them.

So think about a traditional engineering role, combined with a traditional product management role.

That's kind of the role we're looking for.

And a nice to have is having this business experience.

So if you have deep affinity with salespeople, customer success people, recruiters, that will help you like getting up to speed very quickly.
