Hello, everybody.

My name is Dennis Collett, or otherwise known as Professor D.

My purpose is simple.

To help people move from uncertainty to confidence in the trade, using, education and technology to build successful careers, strong character and meaningful lives.

For more than 30 years, I've been fortunate to build a career in the electrical industry that has taken me through nearly every stage of the profession.

I started as an apprentice electrician with the same questions and uncertainties that many people like you face today.

Over time, I became a journeyperson electrician, a master electrician, electrical contractor, business owner, college professor, and now training specialist.

I help develop and deliver training programs that support workforce development and operational excellence.

Now, throughout my career, I've worked with apprentices, students, electricians, and skilled trades of all different backgrounds.

And one thing I've learned is that success isn't determined by talent alone.

It's that most people already have the potential.

What they need is direction.

They need a roadmap.

They need someone who has walked the path before them.

They need the confidence to believe they can succeed.

And that's why I created Ilearntricity Academy.

My mission is to bridge the gap between education and real world success by helping people just like you develop the technical skills, professional mindset and confidence needed to thrive and in the skilled trades.
