Now this is a quick guide on how to set up the Telegram and Claude code connection.

Like we said, Claude code is very similar to the Claude cowork.

It's a bit more technical oriented and it can do a lot more.

So in working with Claude code, you unfortunately can't do these steps through the Claude Code app, so you'll have to run it through Terminal.

Now a terminal is basically just an application that allows you to write commands to your computer.

And this is how obviously computers used to run.

For most technical things, they still run through the terminal.

And so this is a quick guide using that and we'll have to use that to integrate it.

So you can find your Terminal app via Spotlight just searching in Terminal, or you can go to Finder Applications, Utilities, then open Terminal.

So once you have Terminal, the next few things are installing Homebrew.

Homebrew is a package manager.

It allows you to install, other applications from your terminal.

It is important you just follow these instructions.

So, copy and pasting this into Terminal, just like that, pressing Enter, then putting in your password, pressing Enter again, following the instructions that you have here.

The next thing is, once that's actually finished downloading and installing, Is copying these commands so that Homebrew, is stored to your device.

So it's all just copy and paste.

Basically to verify that it's installed and working, you can just send that command.

And I can see here that it's showing the version of Homebrew.

The next thing you'll want to do is install Claude code.

And you can do that just by copying this one, pasting it in, and then the second one and pasting it in.

The third step is installing BUN through Brew Homebrew.

I've already done that, so I'm just going to skip over this one, but just follow these two instructions.

So the next step, is actually launching Claude in your terminal.

So all you need to do is type in Claude, then also add bypass.

We're going to copy Claude.

Dangerously skip permissions.

Now you'll get warned about dangerously skipping permissions personally.

That's what I use.

Do this at your own risk.

Claude then can take actions without asking for permission.

So this, if prompted incorrectly, can lead to some bad things.

But if you follow these instructions, you will be able to do the right things and it won't do anything destructive unless you tell it to.

So we're just going to paste that into your terminal.

And when the first time you do this, it'll probably ask you to log in.

Just log in with your account and it'll show you that you're on the Claude Enterprise plan and it's running.

The next thing you need to do is add, the official Marketplace plugin straight into Claude.

I've already got that installed, so that's okay.

And then the Telegram plugin again.

Just follow these instructions, copy and paste what it's saying here.

Then the next step is actually creating the Telegram bot.

So to install Telegram, it's first install it from the app Store on your phone, go through the instructions, download it on your desktop, then follow the instructions to connect the account.

And once you're in Telegram, search for the bot father.

The bot father is a way to actually just create other bots in Telegram so you can chat to them.

Now, once you have the bot father open, click start, then slash new bot.

You can call it whatever you like.

I'm just going to call it Claude.

The second name will be the username and has to be unique.

So you'll find that.

You'll have to find variation of whatever you want to call it.

So for this demo, I'm just going to call it Whai Claude Bot.

It has to end in bot, click Enter and my bot has been created.

Now here you'll be sent this message.

It's important that you click the token copy that to your clickbox clipboard just by clicking it or right click and copy code.

We need to reload the plugins.

We can do that by typing reload plugins and hitting Enter.

Next thing you need to do is type in Telegram Telegram colon, configure space and then the token that we copied.

This is what connects Claude code to Telegram and in the background it'll run it.

So while that is working and updating the token for me, I'm going to open a new terminal and make sure that channels are turned on.

All you need to do are, copy these commands, Enter your password, Paste a second command, and it printed true.

So that's working.

So back in to the Claude code terminal, type in slash exit.

So after exiting that Claude code session, we're going to actually go to the folder that you're using as your operating system or your executive assistant.

So in order to do this, you're going to type in CD space and then you'll have to know where you are keeping your folder.

For me, this is in Documents slash, and you can just type in the folder and then tab when you type in a few characters.

Once you've gotten the folder, you can press Enter.

And now Claude code will be running in this one.

So we just paste in the cat the following command, which is here in step eight.

Go back to Telegram.

To test this, you go back to the bot father and then click the first link.

it's now working.

The next thing is we're going to copy this command from Telegram into Claude code.

That's going to update who can actually send messages to you.

And now Claude is now paired.

And you can see I send a message from here.

It actually is responding.

It thinks I'm Don because that's my username and Telegram.

And now it can act as your executive assistant from Telegram from your phone.
