Just gonna jump right into this About Me video.

my name is James.

I run Yordy Doors, LLC.

I got into the door industry back in 2019.

Didn't have a mentor, no system.

I just showed up and figured it out.

And for the next few years, I jumped from company to company every year or two on, purpose.

Wanted to learn everything I could.

I wanted to earn as much as I could as fast as I could.

Residential service installs, commercial sectionals, coiling doors, fire doors, hangar doors, counter doors.

Then subcontracting, where I did it all on my own, I touched all of it.

By 2024, I launched Yordy Doors, LLC, my own company, and did over $40,000 revenue in the first three months.

Then life happened.

I had a baby, had to make some hard decisions, closed down the company and took a position with the door company in Minnesota to stabilize things.

Under nine months, I went from new hire to lead tech, running commercial jobs as a foreman.

Six years, multiple companies, every type of door that I could get my hands on.

And I built something out of it all.

A training system I call the trusted tech method.

it's the full residential workflow in sequence, the way it actually goes on a real job site.

Not theory, the actual process.

And here's what I see over and over again.

Guys who are capable, who show up, want to move up, but nobody ever gave them the full picture.

They learn by watching somebody do it once and then just get thrown into it.

So they have gaps.

springs make them nervous.

Installs take longer than they should.

Callbacks hurt their reputation.

It's not a talent problem, it's a systems problem.

When you understand the full workflow, from loading the truck all the way to vinyl operator install, lube and tune little things, everything changes.

You move faster, you make fewer mistakes, and you become the tech that people actually want to keep.

And this is like everything that I've culminated over the last few years into my own workflow.

Like, when I show up on a job site to install a door, I'm already thinking about how I'm going to service this in a couple of years or in 10 years or whatever.

That way, when I'm doing the actual job, I think about what the service technician is going to want to see when he comes to service it.

Is there going to be stuff all out of order?

Is there going to be uneven parts?

Is it going to look bad on him or the company when.

Or bad on me or the company?

When a technician comes back out to service it and looks at my work.

Well, I want it to be like, wow, this is perfect.

Or it doesn't even need service because it runs so well.

And so that's what's really important to me.

And building this course is showing people exactly how to get a door to do exactly what you want it to do every single time.

And part of that is making your processes the exact same every single time.
