Automate recurring tasks with your AI assistant ⚡

I am coming to you from New York today and I wanted to drop in and give you a great, tip that we found for working with the assistant with tasks.

Right.

So I want to show you here.

I've added a task.

Now we're releasing a new Friday, Power Tips email.

So every Friday we're going to start sending out an email with Power Tips, and here we've said add a task to write our, weekly Friday Power Tips email newsletter, including the task description, the topic area we want to include, and then any other relevant details.

Right?

And I want this to be written on our newsletter, format fact, because we have that description stored in the fact.

And you can see here it's added this task, right?

And then it explains what to do.

And this is the task to create the, email.

So this is then stored as a task.

And then what I've done, if I jump out here in another conversation is all I've had to say is draft this week's newsletter based on the task description and it's gone to the task description and then it's gone and created the perfect newsletter for me from that.

Now this is really powerful because there's a couple of key things you can do here.

You can start to add instructions into your tasks for things that you want to be done over and over again and then just drop in and give the assistant direction and tell it to execute that task and it will do.

So, you could also.

I could easily have turned this into a memory so that then I said, you know, based on this memory draft, and then whenever I say the word newsletter, it goes and does it and I could have easily done that too.

So, really powerful, have a play, drop some descriptions in tasks and then ask, the assistant to execute that task.

Now one thing you might need to play with is the right, instruction to make it do so because sometimes it could, if you use the wrong language, create another task, etc.

but for this, for example, we just use the words draft this week's newsletter based on the task description and it did it straight away.
