We're going to do a quick overview of our rebilling functionality.

The rebilling functionality in Voyager allows you to take a single parent claim.

if you're a trader or producer, this could be a claim that you received from owner operator.

if you are an owner operator and, perhaps you're parceling, you could use the same functionality to split up the claim into multiple sub claims to send out to other charterers.

Today we're going to give an example.

If you are a producer or trader, you've received a vessel claim from the owner, you're processing it, and then you need to rebuild out to suppliers and receivers.

So let's start by taking a look at the, parent claim, which is the one we have here.

This is a very standard parent claim.

We have two, cargoes loading and we have a cargo discharging between one port.

the difference here is that we have two suppliers and one receiver in this example.

Now, from a trading perspective, each of these supplier and receiver agreements obviously represent a different commodity trading transaction.

so in this situation, we actually have four potential demurrage claims.

We have one claim with the ship owner, we have a claim with each supplier, so that's three.

And we have a fourth claim with the receiver.

One of the pain points normally is having to copy these claims and duplicate them and create different versions.

Voyager makes it very easy to do this once you have processed the parent claim like we've showed you in the previous examples.

So we've conducted our, additions and deductions.

So if you remember, we will take a look at our load port.

We've done our additions on the left.

We have our, deductions on the right hand side and we do the same process for our discharge port.

And we have our, additions on the left.

And I will add in some deductions on the right.

So once we have our, additions and deductions, we have our, calculated demurrage.

In this case, we have a counterparty amount that was submitted by the ship owner of 50,000.

We've calculated that it will be more.

For the sake of this example, let's make the demurrage amount a little larger by putting updating the counterparty amount.

So we have a difference of 8,000.

Now, obviously, this amount here, the 56,383, I want to try and recoup that from my suppliers and receivers.

Now, this is where we use the rebuild functionality.

I'm going to delete the ones that already exist here for the sake of the Example.

But what we're going to do in a sec is we're going to hit this rebuild button and it's going to cascade all of my rebuilds.

So the way we set this up is in each port call we need to know the supplier and the receiver.

In this case, we've set it up as Shell and Exxon and we need to know the quantity and we need to know the grade.

Now, if both cargoes are loading and discharging simultaneously, the then we do not need to tag the sof.

However, if you do have cargoes that are working in parallel, or sequence or overlap, you are able to actually tag the cargoes to these specific events so that you can get an even more precise rebill calculation.

This is specifically useful if you have a lot of grades loading to different suppliers and receivers at the same time or you're doing parceling.

So once we have updated with our, counterparty information the quantities and the grades, we can make sure we complete the same process for the discharge port.

In this case, if we go to our SOF parser, we have just the one discharging.

So now we're actually ready to do the rebuild.

So when we hit the rebuild, it'll generate all of my rebills.

And if we go into each one of these, you'll notice that the parent claim is a payable.

But if we go into our, Shell Chemicals rebuild, you'll notice that in the system this is now being set up as a recoverable.

And we can also apply the unique terms and conditions of that trading contract here.

So maybe the trading contract doesn't have a $34,000 demurrage rate.

Maybe it has 25,000.

And maybe the allowed lay time is actually 18 hours, or maybe it's four hours.

Whatever it might be, this allows you to quickly go in here and update this.

And then when you go into here, you'll also notice that it has prorated the additions and deductions based on the other cargoes being handling.

And this is based on the lake, sorry, the BL quantity.

So it is essentially done the prorations for you in this case.

so by creating one claim, you create multiple.

And if we go back to the source and we have a look at our rebuilds, we have the other claims sitting here as well, which you can go through and validate.

Now, what that does is when you have a unique relation code.

In this case, this is 123.

This could be your strategy ID or some kind of unique ID that ties everything together and we go back to our claims manager.

You can always just search for that relation code and see all the unique rebills and claims related to this.

You can also run reports off the back of this to very quickly get a sense of what is your actual P and L and exposure for that trade or for that voyage.
