Account cleanup

Okey dokey.

So for this bit all I'm asking you to do is to sanity check all the contents of your account.

So clean up any of the sections that you know, we've all done it.

If we go into forms, for example, we've already tidied up our subscriber list.

let's go into forms under pop ups.

I created this to give it a try.

I'm not actually using it so I can just go in and delete it.

My embedded forms, these are going to all be copied over to the new version though we do need to reconnect them to our website.

But are they all active or have you got a seven tips Download version two seven Tips Download version three seven Tips Download copy one this is a demo account.

This doesn't represent reality and it's hard for me, as I've mentioned, to show my real account without the danger of GDPR.

so imagine that I've got 20 different forms here.

If you know that some of them have never been used, never going to be used, just delete them.

You know, this is just an opportunity to delete stuff.

This is not available on the free plan, so it won't be migrated over anyway.

Do the same for your sites.

So have a look at the pages that you've got.

Delete any pages that were just you playing around, testing the system and also the automations.

The other thing that you might want to do is when you look at something, if the title here doesn't match the actual form, so if it says workflow 17 have a quick look and name it.

Something that helps you to understand what that workflow is actually doing.

so do your forms, your sites and your automations.

And the other thing you could do if you wanted was to have a look at the groups in your emails.

So if you have lots of groups now might be a good time to tidy those up.

Your segments won't carry over so we'll have to recreate those, but your groups will, as will your fields.

So, so these fields are like the data that you hold against people and down the bottom of the fields you'll see we've got custom fields, I've got a custom date, an email platform and a star sign which have all been used for demos.

So if you started collecting custom info, or you set up a field and you've never used it, you could delete that as well.

Okay, so that's quite straightforward.

Do that.

If you, if you don't do it, it doesn't matter.

It's just a good.

It's a bit like when you move house.

You know, you want to declutter a bit, don't you?

so it's just the same as that.
