[v0.5] Rudus Demo

This is Rudus: AI powered takeoff for Concrete.

This is the Projects tab where you can see all of your projects.

If you want to create a new project, you can just go here and put in a name.

I'm going to do one for th e Sierra Pacific Orthopedic Center.

And this is the layout we've got.

If I upload a PDF, it'll start rendering.

So I'll explain what we have here.

Got the typical, you know, zoom, select, mult-select.

You can add measurements, your scale, summary, tab, estimation, all the pages that'll show up, your conditions, layers, measurement summary for the sheet, and a quantity list per condition.

So fairly normal for your takeoff platform.

But one thing that's unique about Rudus is that when this PDF gets uploaded, our AI goes through every sheet and finds the name and, and the scale and auto names and auto scales it.

So every page has been automatically named and the scales have been set for every sheet that has a clear scale.

For example, let's go to something like a foundation plan.

Here, if we look at the scale, 18 inch equals 1 foot.

And that's exactly what it is.

So let's say, you know, I want to do a takeoff for this plan.

The first thing you'll probably want to do is go to the footing schedule and create these conditions that you can actually trace with.

Instead of doing that manually, what you can do with Rudus is ask it "Generate conditions from the footing schedule." So it should be able to find and- Or it'll ask us for the footing schedule.

We can select this, add to the chat context and say, "Here it is." And now we should see these conditions being made, right over here.

Cool.

And they're getting updated.

Okay, nice.

So see, we have things like this F1, GB3 through GB1, P1 through P7 that we can start doing takeoffs with.

So let's for example, try doing a P6 takeoff.

One thing that's unique about Rudus is as you're doing a takeoff, our AI is in the background trying to understand what you're trying to do based on geometry, what it understands about the sheets and tries to autocomplete other things for you.

When you place down one of these footings, it'll see, there's a similar thing over here, this P6, and it does this little ghost overlay on top and it gives you a little tooltip saying you can press tab to auto complete it.

So if I press tab, it'll automatically get completed across the sheet.

Now something for something like a P1 that has multiple across the sheet.

Like you can see three here already.

If I place it down, it'll go through and it'll catch every single one on the sheet, hopefully.

And yeah, that looks about right to me.

and I can just press tab and you can see over here this number going up.

And if I press tab, they all get auto completed and this number keeps going up, to that looks like It's.

It's a 46 across the sheet.

So you can imagine how much clicking and looking around that saves you on every single project that you bid on.

Another thing you can do also is if you go to a detail sheet.

whenever you're looking through details, you might wonder where is this detail getting referenced?

One nice thing you can do with Rudus is click on the green pulsing ring over every single detail bubble.

That'll immediately auto prompt our AI chat, asking it to find every reference of the detail across every single sheet.

It'll give you these little pills that you can click on and it'll navigate you straight to that reference.

So we have one reference, there are only six across every single plan set and they're all on the same foundation plan sheet.

But if we go through, we can see every single reference of this detail.

Very convenient.

Saves you a lot of time searching.

I want to show some more things.

Let's go to a different project with this 1270 here.

If I go to something like the this floor, right, If I want to do an outline auto complete, we can see the scale's already set.

You know, 1/8 inch equals 1 foot.

And we can go through and start doing a suspended slab outline with my 8 inch suspended slab.

And what should happen is that Rudus is constantly trying to understand what is happening across the sheet.

What are we trying to do?

So it realizes I'm going to outline the suspended slab and it lets me press tab to auto complete the entire slab, which is great.

These things get blocked out because they're all greater than 100 square feet.

That's how we have it programmed.

If someone doesn't want it to be that way, we can always change it for you in a custom way.

similarly, you know, we can keep on doing.

We have all these conditions here.

We can add them and do the takeoff.

But for a takeoff as simple as this, we actually have an AI scan feature.

We can see this AI scan has detected 57 elements across this sheet alone.

And if I click it, it should be able to reference all these walls and all these columns and blockouts across the sheet.

And understand where to place them.

So let's see if I click it.

Cool.

Everything's getting placed.

There we go.

And we now have everything that just got placed.

takeoff is done.

And from there you can go into your summary tab and see the quantities of every single element that you've taken off.

And you can put this into your estimating spreadsheet.
