How to use The Hire With Confidence Evaluation tool 📋

Okay, this is one of my favorite tools that I have ever created.

and I'm really excited for you to use it.

Okay, so I'm just going to run through what it does, how to use it and what it all looks like.

okay, so I already have entered a bunch of data because it would take a lot of.

It takes a lot.

Well, it takes a bit of time, you know, to set up.

so this is created to help you actually choose who to hire out of your candidates.

So, it says down here, this evaluator is for your shortlisted candidates.

Okay, so it's not for everybody who applies, it's the ones that made it past your initial application review and completed a test task.

Okay, Anyone you ruled out earlier doesn't need to come through here.

That would be way too much work.

but everyone you are evaluating at this stage is already a yes, worth considering.

And then this tool will help you go through those and figure out who is the strongest.

Okay, so, in here you enter what role are you hiring for?

By the way, you can see I have saved data.

It'll save all your data so you don't have to do this all in one go.

so you click start evaluating and then you can see I've already entered in, all my candidates.

I did six examples for you.

So, so, you just go through and you enter your candidate name here.

this score, it will automatically, calculate based on your answers below.

So, in here you're going to put any application notes, what stood out to you about them.

In here you're going to put your test task notes, your observations on their work, anything that came up from that, you're going to put that all in here, be as detailed as possible and this tool will be, be better the more detail you put in because it'll really look through all of your, all of your information that you give, all of your notes and really give you, valuable insights and recommendations.

so then you're going to put your conversation notes.

so after you've chatted with them, had an interview, conversation, whatever that looks like, you're going to put any notes that you had based on that in here, how you got along, things like that.

and then you're going to go through and score different sections.

So, on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest.

Okay, so, the first one is whether the email instructions were followed.

The second one is the quality of the test task that they did.

The next one is their skills and experience.

the next one is how their communication is.

The next one is how do you feel about their culture fit and their vibe.

and then their growth potential.

So you're going to go through and rate all of those on a scale of 1 to 10.

And as I said, it will automatically calculate their score up here based on these.

So this is their average out of all of these.

And then you're going to click on any red flags that you had.

So if they didn't read this job description, they had vague or surface level answers, spelling or grammar issues.

If they're misaligned on your values, if they were late in their test task submission, they failed the attention to detail instruction.

If you included one, and if they were slow or unclear on communication or if that you felt that they gave a low effort on the application or the test task, those would all be red flags according to me.

And then you're going to put in here your gut reflection.

So like really digging into like what is your gut feeling about this person and just your overall like vibe on them.

You're going to put that in here.

and then, so you're going to do that for each one.

You can add a new candidate up here.

you can see I added, again, I added six here.

and then, and remember, this is all based on like my personal systems that I have worked on in my own business and with clients.

And this is the best way to really choose your top candidate and who to hire.

So based on my knowledge and my systems, this tool is going to give you exactly that.

So, so then you're going to click this evaluate all six candidates button and it's going to generate some stuff for you.

It takes about 30 to 60 seconds.

Okay, so we have it separated into strong yes, yes, and no.

You might have some maybes in here as well.

I just didn't happen to with my examples.

but we do have all of those sections strong yes, yes, maybe, and no.

And then you can click in here.

You can see, you know, at a glance what their score is and the different, the different, categories all in like, a bird's eye view style.

And then if you want to expand it to see what I have to say about it through this AI tool, then you click on it and it'll bring up everything you need to know.

So it tells you about the overall assessment.

It really lays out, like, their strengths based on what you said and based on their ratings.

Any concerns that it came up with, any red flags, any.

And it gives the hiring recommendation.

So this one's a strong yes, and here's why.

And then it gives you a gut check prompt, to really, like, feel it out.

Because sometimes the highest score isn't the one that you necessarily want to hire.

but like it says here, real talk, you said Maya felt like the one from her very first message, and you generally genuinely love working with her every week.

When someone hits 9.7 out of 10 and makes hiring feel this easy, what's holding you back from sending that offer today?

So basically it's telling you, like, unless you have a gut feeling that it's probably person isn't the one you've previously said that she was.

So this is probably your top hire.

So it's telling you who to hire.

How awesome is that?

Even though you have two strong yeses, Jane Smith is also a really high score.

Goes through why and it goes through, you know, all of the same stuff.

And it'll really give you insights into them.

And then same with all of them.

Here's the yeses, here's why, here's the nos, and here's why.

and then the hiring recommendation.

No.

Right.

So you probably don't even need to look through these, but you can if you want to.

the ones that you're going to want to pay attention to are these the strong yeses up here.

But if for any reason, you know, those don't work out, then you can always go back to this and maybe go down to your yeses that it has here.

And, and then maybe you end up hiring that person.

After all, if these ones didn't work out anyway this tool is freaking amazing.
