Cruva: How to Create Creator Briefs 📝

Today I'm going to walk through exactly how to make a creator brief within Cruva.

This is going to help our creators understand the exact content to make to create quality videos and then therefore increase our gmv.

So starting out, we're going to go into the Content Creator Briefs tab.

Go in up here, click Create Brief, we'll give it a name.

This is fully internal.

The headline will then show up on the right hand side as a headline.

Maybe Maybe this looks something like Top Performers or videos that have driven over 100k.

Then go and upload your company logo, change the background and text color to make it branded and then we'll go and click into the Content tab.

Now this is a section where we could get very particular in how we want this displayed.

Of course, every time you make a change you'll see this in the right hand tab.

And this is exactly how the creator brief will show on the creator's end when we generate this brief.

So starting out we can manually curate this brief.

So we can select videos from shop and select from our top performers and add them in exactly to be viewed and seen there.

Or we can go in and add a URL, manually.

Or we have the option to select from Social Intelligence.

So say we want to add other brands videos because we want our creators to post videos like that and it's a good formatted video.

You could go in to Social Intelligence, go to Videos and any single video that I end up bookmarking.

Now either in videos or say the products tab, any video that I bookmark will now show up inside my creator brief section.

So for example, now you'll see those videos that I just bookmarked and I can add them by clicking select from Social Intelligence.

They're going to appear here for creators to view and understand exactly what video I want them to create.

Next we can go in and add top hooks.

So this is how I specify and after identifying some top hooks, put in what I want creators to ideate off of.

Right hook one, hook two, whatever that might look like.

Then I'll add in do's or don'ts.

So the guidelines add in as many do this or don't do this as you wish.

If we want and have community set up, we can add this as well.

Or if we have an additional PDF, we can add this as well.

And I will note that all of this is fully customizable in terms of placement, exactly how we want this to look, And everything in between.

So say I want to still dictate this, but I want to automatically display all of my top videos and I don't want to go back and have to change this every week, every month.

So all the top videos are always updated.

I can just do this automatically by selecting this tab and I can enable all shop products.

I can select a specific product or products that I wish to show, select the post date, sort by GMV or Views and specify how many videos we want to show.

So this is the static type of a brief.

However, we do have the dynamic part of a brief where it does all of this for you.

And depending on how we want this to show, what products we want to show, it totally is up to you in terms of do we want a static brief, do we want a dynamic brief?

But I'm very keen to having this dynamic brief because this is always updating the top videos.

And creators can see this now based off of all of our products that we've specified.

The top view, the top selling, whatever date range we're looking towards and then say, for example, the video has, a transcript in it.

Now any video that has that information to base off of, it's going to share some top hooks from that video specifically and share a blurb as to why this is working.

So feel free to position, position this as we wish, but we have many ways to do so.

So at the end of the day, the creator can make the best content possible.

But tying this all together, I like to do something where I put this in my shipped message, right?

So we have sample request status shipped and now we can go ahead and share a message like this where we're educating the creator while it's in transit, so the second it gets delivered, they know exactly how to make some awesome content that's going to drive GMV for you and your shop.
