Understanding Actions in Gale in this walkthrough, we'll cover actions, also known as scenarios, and how they help guide Gale through specific processes during a call.

Actions are customizable conversation flows that tell Gale what to say, what information to collect, and how to respond in different situations.

In Gale's platform, the terms actions and scenarios are used interchangeably, so you may see both throughout the system.

To access actions, start by logging into your Gale portal from the left hand menu.

Navigate to either the Inbound or Outbound tab, depending on where you want to configure the action.

Then click on the Action Library tab.

This is where you can create, manage and organize the conversation flows Gale will use.

Each action should have a clear structure to make it easy to understand and effective in practice.

First, give the action a title.

The title should be easy to identify so you can quickly understand the purpose of the action at a glance.

Next, define a clear objective.

This is the trigger that tells Gayle when the action should be used and what outcome it is meant to accomplish.

Then build out the steps Gayle needs to follow in order to complete the action successfully.

These steps should guide the conversation from beginning to end and ensure Gayle handles the process accurately and consistently.

Within those steps, you can include sample phrases to suggest the language Gayle should use during the conversation.
