Hey everyone.

I'm Malin from Fynch, and today I wanted to talk about the Weekly Strategy Brief.

So what it is, where you can find it and why it's so powerful.

So diving right in, I have, a project here that is set up for Powell's Books.

Powell's Books is a great local independent bookshop here in Portland, Oregon.

But I have my agent named AI Powells.

And right now I'm in our knowledge tab of the workspace and that's where you can find your weekly strategy brief.

So I've pulled up an example of a strategy brief for this week, the current week.

And this is something that the system will generate automatically for you each and every week.

And the breakdown of this is really the same each week.

There's these three kind of key sections that we're looking at.

But the brief is meant to be really your executive summary and also your action plan for what to focus on for that week.

So if we look at the example, this was the brief from the current week that we're in right now.

You'll see the first section is always the weekly win.

So this is going to tell you what went well this week and what's the, main piece to celebrate?

The second thing is going to be your core insight.

So this would be a main focus area or takeaway that you'd want to be really drilling into.

And then most importantly, the last section is called Action Plan.

So this is always narrowed down to just the top three things that the platform is suggesting you really focus on, as the priorities for this week.

So all of this, this brief and the action Plan is based each week on your current tasks.

You have open any work, research notes, activity that's been in flight.

So this is always learning and always updating based on how your business is performing and what you're actually doing from a task and work perspective as well.

So once you have this action plan laid out, you'll see that in this example, the main call out has to do with a bit of a dip in organic traffic to the site.

So the recommendation that we have here is to really promote the, Sell Us Your Books program.

It's a book buyback program that Powell's has.

So you'll see some of these talk about an action plan around promoting the Rare Book Room, and doing some research on how that shows up, as an opportunity for Powell's to really lead with that.

And then the third one here is also about, coming up with social media content plan for TikTok.

And Instagram, specifically around used book gems and some rare finds.

So once you have this, and if you were looking at this each week, you have some options at this little bar at the bottom here.

So, one, you can leave a comment directly if you have updates or you want your other team members to see things.

the second thing you can do is edit the doc directly.

So if you wanted to change parts of the brief, you can come in here, go into edit mode, update exactly what you want, and save that.

the third option you have is refine.

So this is, basically asking the AI to make those edits on your behalf if you want to do this.

Sometimes it's much faster to do it this way.

And then lastly, you have this option to generate plan.

So what happens here is that generate plan will then take you to the next steps to say, great, we have this action plan.

So you can see we're in this brief stage here, but we'll move to more of a concrete plan around these three action items, and then we'll go ahead and execute those as individual tasks, and have the agent kick things off so we can go implement the strategy that we're seeing in our weekly strategy brief.
