today I'm going to show you how the ID verification tool inside of Anchor works.

Logging into anchure, I get taken to the dashboard, which shows me any envelopes I've sent out for e signing.

To access the ID verification tool, I can click that from the left hand side menu.

To create a new verification, I can head up to the top right hand corner and enter the name, email address and mobile number.

For two factor coming down, I have some additional options.

I can require a biometrics check.

This takes three selfies of the individual to match them to the document.

For example, if a husband's taking a photo of a wife's documents, it'll fail.

We can also require tax details like the tax file number, BSB and account number.

Just a bit of a more secure way of collecting these as opposed to an email.

When we hit Create, your recipient will receive an email to start that verification and they'll also get a text message letting them know that we've sent a verification to them, and directing them to that email.

You can see here we've gotten that email asking us to complete an identity verification.

The annoture branding will be replaced by your logos and colors once you've uploaded them.

To get started, we can hit Start verification.

We'll be presented with some basic information that we'll be collecting and we can send that two factor code to their mobile to start that process.

To get started, we have some basic details we'll enter here, like the date of birth, residential address, and if we requested the tax file number, BSB and account number.

We'll length check these to make sure that they're the correct length as well.

If your recipient has started this process on a computer, they'll be presented a QR code to complete it on their mobile.

If you if they're started on the mobile, we'll take them straight to the page.

Your recipient will go ahead and scan that QR code and they'll select what ID type they'll be scanning, whether it be the driver's license or passport.

We'll go ahead and take a photo of the front and the back of the document, making sure it's clear and visible before capturing.

Once that's done, if we requested the biometrics check, it'll go ahead and take three selfies of the individual to match them to the document.

Once that's all done, it'll take about five minutes to certify in the background.

We won't send anything further to your recipient.

However, Once it has been completed, we will send you an email with a link back to anchor.

I'll just head to a completed verification here and open that up.

I can reveal some basic details from the verification, such as the name, address and the document type that was submitted.

Up the very top I can cite the evidence.

The front, the back of it's a driver's license and the selfies.

If we requested that, we can download the evidence if we need to.

Down the bottom we get an audit log of every time someone or every key event that's happened in the ID verification.

So every time, it has been opened, it was completed and sent.

As well as every time someone from your organization has cited the evidence up in actions.

We can also download our report.

So our certificate of verification details that audit log, so who it was sent by and the recipient.

We also have the option to purge the verification.

What this does is destroys the evidence, so the pictures.

However, you always retain the certificate of verification, which again proves that someone from your organization had gone in there, cited that evidence and then destroyed it from your system.
