Introducing the referral and cross-pollination system

What we have been looking over the past months, and even more so since we started the Client Co-Lab is a simple question.

What actually helps people get clients and grow their business inside IMMA?

And one thing became very clear.

Most of the work that we do here is trust based, which means people don't choose you because they just saw a website or post.

They choose you because they know you, And very often someone they trust introduces you.

And so introductions and referrals aren't just one channel.

They are one of the strongest ways to grow a business like yours.

And so we ask ourselves, how can we make it easier, not just individually, but as a collective, to create referrals and introductions?

And how do we create a system where introductions happen more naturally, where collaborations emerge and where opportunities circulate inside the network?

And based on that we made a few changes.

we want to make it incredibly easy for you to become referable.

And so what we designed is a referral guide and workbook.

It helps you get clear on who you help, when somebody should think of you, what actually changes when you work with someone and what is proof and evidence that you can provide.

And how can you make referrals super easy for others?

because the clearer you are, the easier it is for others to refer you.

And so the next step that we did is actually turning our IMMA profiles into a tool that makes it so much more easy to be referred so it's not no longer just about you.

It's a tool for introductions, collaboration and the tool to spotlight your work.

So the workbook helps you update your profile so others can easily understand what you do, talk about your work, introduce you to the right people.

And last but not least, now that we have your profile, but how do we create the situations and the opportunities for you to be introduced?

Here comes our new event series, we call it Cross Pollination.

This is a new monthly session and is designed to help to actively open doors for each other.

It is rooted in generous reciprocity and it's about asking for introduction but also offering introductions and share where you are connected But we understand that this doesn't happen immediately and instantly.

So the session is really designed around helping you to gain trust for real stories, be more able to talk about your work but at the same time get to know other people within the community to understand what it is that they do and how you could collaborate or help each other.

This is a live session but it has also an asynchronous thread that goes along it.

So even if you can't make it, you still can be engaged and take advantage from this cross pollination effort that happens every month.

So this is the new system.

It allows you to get clear through the guide, it becomes easy for you to be referred with your profile and we create the conditions to activate your network through the cross pollination session.

Over time this allows us to create this regenerative cycle where trust grows, where the number of introduction increases, where opportunities circulate So now you're asking, where do you start?
